I have a kitty that is about 8 months old. Well, a couple of weeks ago he brought us home a little surprise. He brought us a kitten! No, it isn't HIS it was a stray he found somewhere. Now, I can say most definately it is a stray because he would bolt whenever he saw a human. Absolutly scared to death of us! He's probably about 6-8 weeks old I guess. Just the cutest thing. We've been feeding him and slowly have been moving the dish closer to the house where now its on the porch. The last week when I put the food out I've been sitting on the porch. He's come a long way in getting used to us where now he doesn't run so far.
Well, last night while he was eating he let me pet him!!!!
I couldn't believe it! We are trying to get him used to us so I can get him to the vet to get him checked out and also to get him used to us before the cold weather sets in.
The cats name that brought him home is noodles so we named the baby Ramen! LOL

That's such a sweet story - and I love the baby's name!:D

But now, we bring back the age old DIS debate - is it pronounced "Raymen" or "Rahmen".:p

I was thinking dead mouse, dead bird or worse!! How cute! I guess it was his way of saying, "Hey, I am lonely and could sure use some company".

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!!

Good luck with the kitty. I'm sure the kitty will come around once you've earned its' trust.

Actually we figured it was more like this...

Noodles: Just come home with me.

Ramen: No, I couldn't do that, what if they see me....

Noodles: It's ok, really...they won't even notice with the other 5 cats around!

Ramen: Are you sure?

Noodles: trust me....there have been so many cats in and out of that place they won't even notice one more! ;)

And we are pronouncing it Raymen....because after all....everybody loves Raymen ;)

(I know its Raymond...but it just sounds cute!)

"everybody loves raymen' - cracked me up!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Great story, and thanks for the giggles this morning!! :sunny:

Ah, that's sweet. I am so glad you are taking the cute little kittie in. Every cat needs someone to love them.

How sweet. The strangest thing my cat ever brought home was a jelly donut she stole from the neighbor's picnic.

This is such a cute story. I hope there is happy ending and they'll end up living happily ever after. Have bunches of little lo mein and linguini. ;)

Here's a pic I took of him. Isn't he soooooo cute!!!

What a beautiful littel kitty!! He just melts your heart!!

That's so cute! We had a similar thing happen a few years ago. I was taking care of one stray cat, who was declawed, neutered and had FIV. He must have been abandoned because he was always at our house for about 2 1/2 years. We couldn't take him into our home because we had a indoor cat and didn't want him to get sick. This cat, Silver, started bringing around another little midget female cat with 6 toes. We started taking care of her too. She then had kittens in our garage. 4 years later, my parents have the 2 "stray" and spoil them rotten and we have one of the kittens who is now 17 pound moose!

My dad's adult male office cat brought home a kitten. That silly cat loved that kitten though. He would lay there and let the kitten nurse - I guess it comforted the kitten because it sure wasn't getting any milk :D My dad gave the kitten away and his cat grieved for his baby. My dad sure did regret giving that kitten away.
