Going to my oldest granddaughter's college graduation ceremony this afternoon. Not sure what her degree is for but something in the medical field.
She got cheated out of a high school graduation ceremony in 2020 (covid) so this will be like a first graduation for her.

Yes! Our Oldest Granddaughter, Megan, is graduating from St Anselm’s College in Manchester, NH. My news is that I have recovered sufficiently from my HIPEC surgery in February to head there and visit with family!!
Great news that you can travel there for the graduation. Our daughter Meghan graduated from St. A's in 2006!!!

My daughter graduates high school in a few weeks. Her cousin, who’s also her best friend, is graduating also this year so we’re having one big graduation party for the both of them in June. My DDs last day of school is next Friday, which also happens to be her 18th bday. A week after that is her graduation. Big month for her and us.

College or High School, none. That is the only graduations we had when I was in school.
Now they seem to have "Graduation" for everything.
My oldest Granddaughter will be completing Kindergarten at the end of the month and given past history, I suspect there will be a "Graduation" ceremony. She has a "Pre-Kindergarten" graduation last year, and a "Pre-School" Graduation the year before. My son and DIL says it is just out of hand. They did not expect us to come.....we live 400 miles away. I do hope to make her High School graduation in 12 years, if I am still around and able to, I will be 80.

My younger son graduated high school this year (he graduated early). My older son graduated last week with his bachelor's and master's -- he would've graduated in 3 years with just his bachelor's, so he did the accelerated master's program to get his bachelor's and master's simultaneously. He will be attending graduate school in the fall (not at the same university) to get his PhD.

Thank you to all your congratulations for my DD21 - I will relay the messages to her:love:
I’m leaving for the ceremony in a few minutes 🙂

Congratulations to all of the graduates in your lives - I wish them nothing but the best :goodvibes❤️

It’s crazy how small a big university can be.

My son had a department graduation that consisted of the 43 students getting their graduate or undergraduate degree in the department of math.

That is .001 of the 43000 students at the university.

Then that night it was the 8000+ undergraduates across all the colleges in a mass ceremony.
