You wretched clown!

DH calls McDonald's "colon blow"... of course he still eats there. We just drive home fast afterwards. :car:

OMG, you guys are cracking me up! My DD wants to know why I am laughing so hard.

OOH, I just noticed I got my first tag, after 3000 posts and 8 years!!!

DD7 and I ate there for lunch but I had the asian chicken salad...and an hour later I am STARVING!! I used to love their fries until they went and changed the oil they cook them in to make them "healthier"...blah..

Here is something McDonald's will never have in their commercials.....TMI AHEAD!!! When ds was younger and constipated, a McD's cheeseburger happy meal always did the trick! I had heard that from many Mom's and it certainly worked with my son! Makes ya wonder what is in that stuff....

Jill

OP, sorry your feeling bad, but I love McDonalds food!

The kids got inflatable swords that they promptly beat me with

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

McDonald's isn't my friend, either. I'll eat there every so often, my body will rebel angrily, and I'll swear never to eat there again. Until next time, that is.

This is so, so wrong but McDonald's was what kept me going for 4 days in Spain while I was waiting for a flight home (this was shortly after 9/11). Thanks to Sesame Street (for teaching me to count to 10 in Spanish) numbered value meals and the worldwide knowledge of the word "Coke", I was able to help my homesickness and not starve until I got back to the States.

I can't stand Burger King.... thank GOSH the POC toys ended up at McD's.

When I was growing up, McD's was a once a month (maybe) treat.... now it's so common.... what happened? :confused3

That's a rhetorical question... I know my excuse... I'm too tired after working all day to come home and cook something healthy. I am soooo going to find good healthy crock pot recipes!!! :surfweb:

Wow!!! That must have been awful being stranded like that! We got stuck in Vail, Colorado (DH, myself, and two kids). We finally drove our rental SUV back to PA.

And I will admit that I  McDonald's - especially the fries!

And thanks to MosMom for starting this thread - I now have a new tag! I will confess that my Beagle and I also go on dates to Arby's. We get our food to go - and he eats and then sticks his head out the partially open window to catch the wind. (And he's not a bad kisser, either! :love2: :rolleyes1 )

I actually love McDonald's, but the rest of my family doesn't. Well, our beagle does - sometimes we go on dates to McDonald's.
LOL. I worked at McD's for 3 yrs (82 - 85), and would bring my beagle for a ride when going in to get my paycheck. He liked the"waste" cheeseburgers we used to toss out after 10 minutes of sitting in the bin unpurchased. (Back in the days when food was made ahead of time.) I miss him.

every once in a while, I get a overwhelming surge thru my body that only a QauterPounder with chesses could cure (and dont forget the shake)

MMMMMMMMMMMM, while you marry me?
(And no, I don't think I'm sexy. I know you're gonna ask. ;) :teeth: )

Only sexy with a little bit of cheese and special sauce dribbled on her chin

Yeah, that sounded really bad but I ASSURE you I meant it in the strictest fast food sense.

I know why I get sick eating McDonalds (or any fast food at all) I am allergic to soy. Everything is fried in 100% Vegetable oil which is 100% soybean oil. Their hamburger meat has soy fillers some restaurants have more soy fillers in their meat than others. McDonalds has a good bit in their "100% beef burgers" Taco Bell hamburger is mostly soy.

My body reacts to soy just like it would with food poisoning. Vomiting diarrhea TMI I know but some of you who get sick every time you eat fast food may want to keep that in mind. You may be like me and are allergic to soy. I'm also allergic to Iodine which is in table salt I can't eat iodized salt so I buy plain salt I stopped swelling up like a blow fish (also allergic to shell fish and mushrooms) It is a joy being me :lmao: I rarely eat out anymore after I finally found out what was making me so sick. I feel 100% better.

The McDonald's patties themselves are 100% beef. They definitely aren't the choicest beef, but they are all meat. McD's has this stuff they call "Grill Seasoning" and it's salt, pepper and soybean oil. So they are frying that fatty meat in oil. :crazy2: There is soy in the other stuff in the sandwich too, bun, processed cheese & sauce.
