You won't believe what DH did to me!

I was just giggling about the scrapbooking room and the tv, but when I saw it on the top of the steering column I absolutely cracked up (because i prolly would have had the same reaction you did!)...going to have to do this to my mom, she'd love it. Thank you for the good laugh..

I would be VERY afraid that he wouldn't see it and that would be the end of that! But I wonder if I could attach it to the underside of the lid?? :scratchin

I didn't get photos but I put it on a shelf in his closet a few hours ago while he was out for a bit. I figured he would find it when he got back. He did! I went into our downstairs bathroom and was doing my business when I realized it was STARING AT ME!

I definitely think that tomorrow I will work on getting it inside the lid of our bathroom. I will post photos! (guess I should clean the toilet first!)

You could also step it up a notch by recruiting accomplices. If DH works in an office, make a few of these and have his secretary or someone leave them around there. Put one in the trunk of his car where he might find it a month or more from now, put one in the rear window of the car so when he looks in the rearview mirror, it's staring back at him, put one in his underwear drawer, put one in the fridge... the possibilities are unlimited!

I love it! DH and I have a creepy bird thing that his dad gave him as a birthday gift that we hide on each other. It's fun trying to figure out where to hide it next... :rotfl:

Ok, now I wanna see pics of the rest of your scrap room! :lmao:

I can't believe that I am posting a photo of my toidy, but here is what is wating for hubby when he gets home from work-- of course the lid is closed now:

(don't look at my ugly wallpaper!)

It would be hilarious if he was already "in process" when he notices it! ;) :lmao:

I like this game. 2 bad my Dh didn't start this, we would wind up doing the same thing you are :lmao:

BTW shut my eyes to the wall paper but love the Mickey towel. I need some of those:thumbsup2

:jumping1:

Keep us posted with where that google-eyed monster turns up next. I'm in agreement with an earlier poster who said you should recruit an office worker to help with hiding it somewhere at work. He would never see that one coming. :happytv:

When Beanie Babies first came out we got a Penguin and would hide it from each other in very strange or surprising places (based on the Bud Ice (?) commercials at the time with the penguin stealing beer)

I have photos but they aren't digital. He went around for a few years! Once he tied it by it's wings in my trunk and when I opened the trunk it came swinging out at me! I did get it to his work once and hid it in his filing cabinet--it took him weeks to find it there. I still have a penguin sticker on my scrapbooking trimmer that he put there before I left for a weekend crop.

The best though was that his parents actually bought us a larger stuffed penguin when I was pregnant with our second DD. I came home from the hospital after delivery and went into the bedroom with her to take a nap. The bassinet was next to my bed and I had the side sleeper and blankets all set up in it before I left for the hospital. I pulled back the blanket to lay DD down and there it was! Scared the dickens out of me and then I nearly dropped DD I was laughing so hard !

The penguin sort of ended there--I mean, how can you top that? Every once in a while if one of us is having a bad week it may show up to make us smile.

I also pulled a GREAT one on a best friend of mine. I will shorten the story but basically someone we didn't like was campaigning for school board. Someone placed one of his bright orange campaign signs on her lawn (not me!) and then she drove by and put it in my yard. I saved that sign for paybacks. She ended up moving away. On the day she was moving I was in contact with her the entire day and when she ran out for a bit I went over and bribed her movers to take the sign with her stuff and put it in the yard of her new house (several states away!). A few days later I got the call! The movers did perfect and put it in her lawn when no one was looking--she couldn't even stop laughing long enough to yell at me!

So basically, if there is a will, there is a way! Hubby gets lots of packages delivered. I am thinking the next hiding place will be open a delivery, slide it in and reseal!!:rolleyes1

Like the FairyGodmailer thread, you could always recruit the DIS to mail him little care packages from all over. :rotfl:

My college roommates and I used to play this little game with a picture postcard of David Letterman that I had. We called him "Tricky Dave" and would hide him on each other. My fave was suspending him at eye level in the hallway so that just when the first person came out in the morning, there he was.

This was 20 years ago - Dave was pretty goofy looking at the time and potentially scarey if you weren't expecting him!!

OH ****!

He put a picture of those **** googly eyes on my laptop and set it as my screensaver!!! And my computer is slow to wake up so it just kept staring at me this morning as I kept hitting buttons to make it go away!

He found the one on the toilet, obviously. But since the eyes don't freak him out it just isn't having the right affect on him. I need to figure out some other way to get him back. :confused3

And since he found them there I haven't seen them again. I am  . I open drawers and things slowly to make sure they aren't there. I may end up with a nervous breakdown!
