My 11yr old Disney daughter is a huge Disney fan. We leave in just over 2 weeks. She used to say "Her arrived at Disney moment.." was when you are driving in and saw the Disneyworld sign. But, now with Magic Express her Disney moment is when you are walking through the terminal and you see the castmembers with the giant Mickey hands guiding you to the bus check-in. So just to kid her. I motion my one hand in a wave and the other pointing away. She gets all excited and mad because she wants to go.

Mine might start alittle sooner on my flight. Right when the plane touches down and is taxing to the gate I say to myself, I have arrived and my vacation may now begin. Man I can't wait only have 44 days to go.

think we are crazy CU at Disney and Simba 22 - but I don't care. I have my countdown and Disney Christmas photos from last year on my comuter as both my background and screen savers and everyone makes comments like, oh I can't believe you are exicted about going to the same place again and again. They just don't get it. But I do and I LOVE IT.......... Have fun CU at Disney. I leave 11/24 for 8 days.

When we get off the plain and into MCO we all know that our vacation has begun. That airport is magical to us!

when I board the plane here in Buffalo I know I am Disney bound!!!!! Stepping foot on Mainstreet USA is a teary eyed emotional uproar for me as well!!!!!

I know I'm at Disney World when I'm driving east on I-4 and see the "Mickey" powerline just before exit 62. It's the first Hidden Mickey!

Mine starts when I leave the office the last day of work before vacation! I have the park CD ready to go for the ride home! It used to be Illuminations, but has recently changed to WISHES!!!

I know my vacation starts really when I get on the plane but I always think that the plane could get diverted or delayed, that's why I think my vacation starts right when we land..


Can't wait. OHHHH I can smell the popcorn now.

The first morning wakeup call at your resort

The captain of the plane announces that we are about to land at MCO. But, I never really truly feel like I am there until I walk under the train station and emerge onto Main Street USA.

Seeing MK come into view for the first time on the monorail! Makes me cry every time!

My 11 y/o DD wants me to write that she knows she's in Disney when we are on our way to the resort and she starts seeing all of the Mickey Head signs (she calls them Hidden Mickey signs). DS9 and she have contests to see who can count the most Mickey signs on our way to the resort.

When I get thru security in my home airport, I know it's really here.

But, the real "Ahhhhhhh" moment is walking into my room at the Swolphin, dropping my bags & looking out at our glorious view. Then I feel like I am home & the stress melts away..... The next days/weeks are mine to enjoy.
