My DS9 feels he's in Disney the night before we even leave and sleep at the hotel at the airport!

The captain of the plane announces that we are about to land at MCO. But, I never really truly feel like I am there until I walk under the train station and emerge onto Main Street USA.

This is exactly how I feel, too!!!! And, when I hit Main Street USA and see the castle, I always say "There's no place like home!"

When you step out on the dock and wait for the boat to take you to MK. I usually hold my DGF and try to hold back the tears.

I love this thread!

The "we're here!" moment for me used to hit when we arrived at our hotel. But now with Magical Express I get that giddy Disney feeling while I am waiting in the cue to get on the bus. And everyone else is excited, too, so the feeling just grows exponentially!

I never used to be able to answer this, but the other day I was thinking about something and it made me think of the threads like this one. It is when we are first in Epcot, the music that is being played...just love it!

When I board the plane and I know that in a few hours I'll be at Disney.. but it really hits me when I hear the screeched of the wheels (plane) hit the pavement.... Phew I done it (I hate flying.... but for Disney, hey!) and then just getting to my resort and taking in all the beauty around.... I'm finally here.... I'm getting all excited.

you know you're at disney when you hear the subtle background music floating down main street, smell sugar and popcorn, and just looking down main street to the castle makes your eyes swell with tears!

Waking up at 2:00am getting ready for the airport.

Mine is a bit silly, but on the road going towards the airport we pass a college with a giant metal globe out front, and it reminds me of the one in Illuminations!

The next big moment is either seeing the Christmas trees at MCO (usually go in December), or riding the airport monorail!
