You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

You do look amazing and your pictures are simply gorgeous. It really looks like a perfect day with that big blue sky.

Super room location. It really doesn't get any better than that.

I always get so sad when I talk to people who have the dining plan and no reservations. It's awful. I hope that poor woman who did no planning was able to have a great trip and get a few fun last minute ADRs.

Congrats on the weight loss.

Great updates and pics.

Ah the 14 year old. We has the same thing happen last summer with the 16 year old.

So the boys swam, I unpacked and k took a nap. Lol!

What a lovely view and room location and now you are off to AoA! I really do want to see both of those resorts one of these days!

You are there!!!!

Arrival day is soooo wonderful- the whole trip is in front of you and pixie dust is flying everywhere. :goodvibes

What really good pictures of you and Mac at the railings. You had a great view. We always request ground floor, so it was cool to see the view from up above. Love the pics of AoA.

were you too busy with giving tips on there trip that you forgot the entrance to disney sign. :headache:
edited: to say sign
:)

I'd love a TR link please. have been reading along and relating to everything you are saying. Have not found the before and reveal pix yet. Must be a little behind. Keep it going.

:goodvibes Just so you don't feel left out, Jill. There were some people not on the list I showed Mark, because I knew exactly how to spell out their Dis names without looking them up, the list was me looking them up and writing them out, in no way do I want you to feel slighted, or anyone else for that matter. :sad2: :) I think I've sent a TR link to another Glennbo I don't know on the Dis twice now. :rotfl:

:goodvibes

:goodvibes

Almost on the plane, just about to be on actually. :)

Vacation day's are the best!! I love getting up for plane trips. :) And yes, my little, fart blossom is looking very grown up now. :sad1:

Oh boy, I think I started a revolution, a fart blossom revolution! Where's that Taco Bell dog when you need him? :rotfl:

The resort photos are fantastic, so fun! You had such a pretty view!
And you are right about the photos. I have so few of my mum from a huge chunk of our teen years. It makes me sad that she felt so badly about herself when we loved her so and didn't care how she looked. It's lovely to see you looking so pretty and happy in yours. And :scared1: about the difference between 10 and 14 for Mackenzie and checking out cute boys! I have 4 years left?!?!

I agree with you, it's so wonderful to look across that lake and see a completed resort. I remember looking at the shell of buildings for years, and it's so wonderful to see it complete with such a neat resort.

And um, I'm a chimer - inner, too. When people are next to me talking about Disney whether it's on ME, or in line for a ride, if I feel they're friendly and I can impart some wisdom, I try to help. :lmao: Although when I'm with the family I'm usually quite distracted, but on my solo or girls only trips, I've definitely got the ears open as it were. :goodvibes

I definitely want to make sure to see AoA when we go in October. I think my boys would love it! Looks like you had a great time exploring!

Nice view! Too bad Mackie didn't listen to her mama so she could swim! :goodvibes I love the nemo scenery - so cute. Too funny about you helping everyone on the bus. I really try not to interject into someone else's conversations but sometimes I can't help myself. I'm thinking these people were greatful to hear from you!

It was a gorgeous view! :goodvibes Once our luggage got there she had a bit of a swim. :thumbsup2

Wow!! Congratulations on your success!! Super inspiring!! :worship: You look amazing!! And how extra special to get to celebrate it in WDW! I was a bit teary reading about it. :goodvibes

Looking forward to hearing more about your trip! :)

Thank you!! :) I'm sorry if I've already done this, but I'd rather do it twice than not at all!!

:welcome: :dance3: :yay: :dance3:
I truly appreciate you being here. :goodvibes

Super room location. It really doesn't get any better than that.

Wow! Thank you!! Compliments from you on pics means a lot. I'm not sure the pictures are all that, but they certainly capture the moment. :cloud9: It really was a perfect day, probably the best four days weather wise were the first two and the last two. :cloud9:

I always get so sad when I talk to people who have the dining plan and no reservations. It's awful. I hope that poor woman who did no planning was able to have a great trip and get a few fun last minute ADRs.

I know, right?!? I had so hoped for things to turn out well for her. I'm sure with how much she had to overwhelm her as soon as she got there and the fact she was there for their very first time, I'm sure it all turned out well. The first time is a bit of a whirlwind and magical if you allow it to be.

Congrats on the weight loss.

Great updates and pics.

Thank you!! :) The update wasn't that great, it was more describing what we were feeling and how amazing that first day of weather was. :goodvibes

I remember about K not bringing her suit! Oh well, it happens. They live and learn don't they? :)
The room local really was nice, quiet and with such an amazing view, I know it's not like some of the views from the more posh resorts but it was beyond wonderful for us. I had soooo looked forward to seeing AofA finished....I couldn't have asked for a more perfect room location. :goodvibes

You really should at least see POP's Classic Hall, they have some pretty amazing memorabilia in there from all the different centuries, obviously, and then walk around the Hippy Dippy pool a bit to see the huge icons. Then, if you have a chance you should walk out the back side of POP and walk to AofA across Generation Gap bridge, it's so worth it. :)

Yes!! I'm finally there!! :goodvibes

Arrival day is soooo wonderful- the whole trip is in front of you and pixie dust is flying everywhere. :goodvibes

It doesn't get any better than the first two days, does it Pat?!? :yay: I just hope your next trip is a lot more relaxing before going and not so rushed during. :)
What really good pictures of you and Mac at the railings. You had a great view. We always request ground floor, so it was cool to see the view from up above. Love the pics of AoA.

Thank you, Michele!!
We had fun looking out over the view, it was so pretty and just what we needed to end the pissiness that was going on.
We usually request ground floor too, but we wanted to be up high to see the amazing view we were hoping for. :goodvibes

were you too busy with giving tips on there trip that you forgot the entrance to disney trip. :headache:

:)

I wondered who would notice first! Actually we were sooo far back on the bus and the windows with enough love bugs on them that the picture I did get didn't turn out good, at all. :sad2:  When I got on the bus and saw it was almost full I was disappointed that we wouldn't be getting a front seat to get that glorious picture, but then I decided I would be happy about the fact the bus was full and that it meant we would be leaving as soon as the driver set butt in seat. :teeth: And I was right, within a few minutes of being on the bus we were off!! :thumbsup2

And I was right, within a few minutes of being on the bus we were off!! :thumbsup2

i guess there is a good trade off for that one.
:thumbsup2

getting the front seat like me and parker did on our last trip meant we had to wait that LONG 10-15 minute wait that seems likes hours just to get to actual disney property

I'd love a TR link please. have been reading along and relating to everything you are saying. Have not found the before and reveal pix yet. Must be a little behind. Keep it going.

If you go to the very first page of the TR, there in the second post is all the links to my updates. :goodvibes And I have a link in my signature <at the bottom of each page I post> to get to the PTR if you like. :)

The resort photos are fantastic, so fun! You had such a pretty view!

Yes we did!! :)

 You are too kind, Alysa. How are those kiddos doing?

And :scared1: about the difference between 10 and 14 for Mackenzie and checking out cute boys! I have 4 years left?!?!

Not to freak you out, but yes, in just a couple of years you'll be seeing a looooot of changes, especially year 12, they go from being still almost little girl to being young teenager, not an easy thing on the Mama's heart. Of course this looks very different for everyone, and I think it's an easier transition for those who are very close to their families. I notice the girls who have really big hearts and those not allowed to grow up too fast make the transition a lot easier, you have nothing to worry about. :goodvibes ::yes::

I agree with you, it's so wonderful to look across that lake and see a completed resort. I remember looking at the shell of buildings for years, and it's so wonderful to see it complete with such a neat resort.

This is why we get along so well! :rotfl: We never meet a stranger and love to being our talkative selves. :goodvibes

I definitely want to make sure to see AoA when we go in October. I think my boys would love it! Looks like you had a great time exploring!

We did have a good time exploring, we had an even better time one evening walking around and seeing everything all lit up in the Cars section. :goodvibes Pictures didn't come out very well in some, but we still had a good time. And yes, the boys will love exploring AofA, it's such a great resort for the young and young at heart. :lovestruc :thumbsup2

Yes, yes there was!! :goodvibes

I know exactly what you are talking about. When going to the airport this is what we experienced. :rolleyes2 Not fun, but I guess you can find the good things in that too, we got to be on Disney property longer and got to see a resort we had never seen. :goodvibes I believe it was the resort Ms. Kat stayed on here recently, of course since she's been there like 20 times over the last year I couldn't pin point wich one it is, I think it's the one with the gurgling suit case bar by the pool? :confused3 I'm pretty sure that's the one, my mind isn't hitting on all synapsis right now. :rotfl:

Great pics of the scenery at AOA...just love all that themeing...very cute.

I just found your big reveal pics! Congratulations, you look fantastic :goodvibes You must be so proud of your achievement :worship:

I never post on here (I'm a lurker, lol), but I stumbled upon your trip report and I just wanted to say that I'm so grateful you shared your journey! Like you, I have been to Disney several times and while I love to be there more than anywhere else, I'm always partially miserable because of my weight. I never want to be in family pictures (as if no photographic proof is going make me thinner), never enjoy myself with my kids as much as I know I should. I really want the next vacation to be different. We're heading back down in December and my goal is to be 40 pounds lighter by then (trust me, I need to lose more than that, but I had to be realistic about what I can do in 6 months). I'm down 15.2 so far (since May 28th) and I hope I can keep the motivation going. Can't wait to read about the rest of your trip! And congratulations - you look wonderful!! Thanks again for sharing! ;)

Just saying "Hi!"

Howdy, girl! :wave2:

Awww, Lana. Thank you!! :) It's so good to see you on here. Hope all is going well.

This is fantastic!!! Way to go, girl!! I'm so honored you came out of lurkdom to say something!! :thumbsup2
Keep up the hard work and just know that thinking about the big number is defeating, just think of the next two pounds you are working on and only those two pounds. Before you know you'll be at 50 lbs. lost!! :cheer2:

I promise I haven't forgotten about everyone.
I've been a little on the down side here of late and for some reason when I get that way, I tend to sink myself into projects. Such as wanting to redo the entire house now. :rolleyes2 I guess re-doing my bedroom wasn't enough to take on so now I've got the whole house in my sights.
From painting the whole outside, as well as the inside, putting in a new sprinkler system, new carpet in the living room, new floors through out the rest of the downstairs, new mirrors in the bathrooms, you name it I pretty much want to do it. I'm even thinking about ways to make our bathrooms look nicer without breaking the bank. :scared:

Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I'm wearing my husband out. :rotfl: He's pretty much been in the garage since I've informed him of my crazy, may take an act of God, plans. :teeth:
I know I can't do that all at once, but I've got the bug and I've got it bad. I even went and priced out new counter tops for the kitchen, what the heck was I thinking?!?! :crazy2:

As you know, when you get started on one thing it leads into at least three to four other things you really want to do. Such as, if I replace the counter tops I'd like to put up a different backsplash. Also, if I do new counter tops I'd REALLY like to have a stove top put into the new counter top, take out the oven and then add in another cabinet and then another next to an existing one and put double ovens into it.
See what I mean?!? :rolleyes2 Buuuut if I do a couple new cabinets then I'd like to replace the dishwasher, and so on and so on. :upsidedow

Well, any way. I have not forgotten about you, and I'm actually working on a new update. I'll get it out as soon as I can. Hope y'all are blessed and having a great weekend. I think of you guys often and pray all is well. :)
