I would email and ask her to refund, I have many (too many) clothes from DS and WDW...everything from WDW has that on the tag and not the DS. Try it and see, maybe she ws just mistaken or maybe she bought it at a Garage sale and they told her it was from WDW! My friend did that with a costume for her DD thought she got such a great deal, no way that was WDW!

BettyAnne! Way to go! It looks like your Park Hopper did pretty good. I was watching it, and would have loved to have gotten it from you, but we aren't actually planning a trip right yet. My DH finally said that if I can make the money from EBay with getting into our "bill" money, that I can start getting tickets & then we will pick a time & make reservations! I was tempted on your auction though. LOL I'm hitting Ebay real hard right now (I'm motivated!) and I also started the ING savings too so I'm trying to get the referral money. My family just looks at me like I'm nuts! Who knows maybe I am! Sandy... Thanks alot!! and thank you to everyone on this board who has answered my many questions... I just wanted to report that I made a total of $256.75 for all items that I had out there!!! I am so excited I actually did better on that pass than I thought I might since I didnt have any feedback, so Im definitely happy... I did go back the other day and upgrade paypal to accept credit cards, so not sure if this helped me.. I would have kept it but it will be more years than I care to wait to go back to Disney and my youngest will have to buy an adults ticket .. but thats ok...

A few things that I wanted to mention to other newbies... I was so surprised at how many things were bid on in the last 2 to 3 minutes of the bid.. One item must have been bought in the last minute because I had been looking at the stuff and there were no bids and then all of the sudden I got an email that someone placed a bid and won it!! Also I got several emails within minutes of the final bid asking questions regarding combining shipping because they purchased more than one item... I personally will try to make sure I am by my computer when things are winding down so that I can answer questions, etc..

One other thing I wanted to mention is that I relisted the items that didnt sell and within 20 minutes one of them had already had a bid!! woo hoo!! I am already to list more stuff tomorrow... Cant wait to see how my second week will go...

Thank you guys for getting me motivated to do this!!! I would never have sold this stuff for this amount at a garage sale! I love ebay!

I hope things pick up for me! I have 27 items listed and only 2 have bids But on the other hand, I listed a Pampered Chef Ice Shaver this morning & had a BIN in just under 2 hours. I have a feeling my price was too low cuz she was the only person who had looked at it Oh well Live & Learn. Sandy

After asking you guys about the dress, I decided to email the seller on that dress. I looked at her feedback first and noticed that she buys a lot from disneydeals and then resells them on ebay. I never did find my dress that I bought, but did find a couple others through there and then resold them as coming from Disney World. I emailed her and told her that I was expecting the better quality that you get at WDW, and a better deal, since they cost around $50 at WDW. I also noted that I was looking at her feedback and what I noticed. I was very polite. I've never asked for a refund before, but now I am feeling very deceived.

After my last post, I went to use my camera and it wont work!! after questioning my daughter I found out she dropped it!! It wont work and this is a very expensive camera... Now I guess I may need to use the money I made tonight to have it fixed... I was so upset with her because I continually tell her to not touch it and she must have gotten ahold of it and now its broke...

I guess I will find out where I need to take it to have it looked at.. Its less than a year old and it cost alot of money so I cant just go buy another one..

Well, every one watch out. The spoof e-mail from ebay and paypal, are making the rounds agian.

I just got one yesterday, from "ebay". I turned it in.

I sure hope that they will be able to get these people!

So to all newbies, if you get an e-mail asking you to click on a link in the mail from Paypal or Ebay. DON'T. They are after your bank account info. Just turn them in to paypal or ebay, and then delete it.

Getting ready to list some more stuff on ebay. I did pretty good during the Free listing day. But I still have two people who have not returned any of my e-mails, or sent a payment.

And I didn't want to list more stuff untill everyone has paid. But, I wanted to list a couple of more times before we go to WDW. I just hope that those payments are in the mail.

I haven't had a spoof from eBay or PayPal recently, but I got this one supposedly from a credit card account yesterday morning - how laughable! Note to scam artists - use spellcheck!

I sold one item last night for $2+ more than the opening bid. Yay!
I looked at andale a moment ago. 4 auctions end within the hour (why did I start them so early in the day?) with 18 views (one just had a 1st look in the past 2 minutes) and no bids as yet.


Last night, sitting here in the very cold northeast, I got to thinking about springtime . YARD SALE time. I imagined buying any DIsney item I could find that ws inexpensive and listing it on ebay.

It seems to me that the SPAM citibank email is just too "bad" to be an error. I think they made it that way purposely to see how many people would still click on the link and give their bank information. They are probably laughing all the way to the bank. The sad thing is that I am sure some people did it ...

No Doris, I bought it with my bankcard... Next month will be a year that Ive had it and the warranty will not cover it if it was dropped.... I am just so disappointed with her because I just got started and doing so good and now I will have to get it shipped out tomorrow to a kodak dealer to have it looked at.. Hopefully it wont cost too much to get it fixed.. Luckily I did take some pictures the other day of some items and I already downloaded them on the computer so Im gonna put them on ebay today and see how they do.. I relisted what didnt sell already yesterday and 3 of the items have bids already!! woo hoo.. I had put a few items up on Wednesday night too so I have those also.. Hopefully I can get my camera there quickly and get it fixed and get it back in time for next weekend or at the least sometime the following week so I wont be out much loss..

I have a bunch of items to list so I was planning on taking pictures of those today, so that will have to wait..

I think everything will be just fine, just had hoped for it to work out differently...
Jennymouse- Thanks for the tip... Yep Im already working on getting the stuff out tomorrow since I already got some of the payments.. The ones that are sending payment, I am getting those ready and will get them out as soon as its recvd..

Bettyann, good luck with your camera and congrats on your recent good start on eBay! While you wait for your camera to be fixed, maybe you can get a head start doing research on items you will sell in future, start writing up your descriptions and planning how best to market you items.

Jenifer, I haven't pursued the PowerPoint thing yet too much, since I am going south so soon. jumping1: ) I have done some research and haven't found anything currently for sale that is exactly like (or anything like) what I want to do, so I have time to pontificate further, and I already have more ideas!
