I bought an item (actually set of 10 disney pins) and when i received it not all 10 were there as pictured in auction. I was missing two, a Goofy and little mermaid, they were replaced with a pin with no character on it and one that said Disney collecters series (there were actually 2 of these in the 10). In the picture and discription of the auction it says nothing about them having the right to substitue pins etc.
I email the seller yesterday... no responce
What do I do now? Please help !

I'd start the complaint process through ebay and Square trade. Click on the Services link and then dispute resolution. If you used PayPay file a dispute with them too. Did you use a credit card on PayPal? Start the chargeback in a couple of days if she/he doesn't contact you. That's just wrong!! Does the seller have negative feedback?

I got a negative FB today from a buyer today because they do not like my payment terms. My terms are clearly stated in my auctions TWICE once in the discription, once in the payment terms sections. If you don't like the terms don't bid, it is that simple, right??

Don't forget to write your reply to the neg feedback, explaining your side of it. Some people just like to cause trouble!!

I paid with paypal but not with my cc but with my paypal funds, (i sell too). the feedback was 99.7% positive and they had thousands of fbs. To top it off the seller is in Hong Kong!
Thanks for which direction to go wasn't sure where i was suppose to start complaining. I would never do this as a seller, it is wrong! You know they have that same picture up with another auction now too. That bothers me. how can they have so many of pins that are supposely rare? They are the puzzle disney pin.

Don't I know it!! I did respond simply "Payment Options Clearly Stated in Auction" I really don't like when people respond to feedback with negativity or flaming, it really just makes it look like the FB was warrented. I would have loved to write something more like "Stupid Non-paying Buyer needs to learn how to read, payment options stated in auction" but I didn't.

Lukily I can file for my fees today on this one and the other one who sent payment to the wrong person and says its not her fault. Well then whose fault is it then??

Okay, I don't even know how I got there, but I just came across bidville.com. Anyone heard of them? It said no listing fees. But, I bet no one has heard of them.

I would suggest giving the seller more than 1 day to respond, especially if they are in Hong King (don't forget the time difference!) Then I'd try a second email before I started a complaint w/ eBay/Square Trade. I know that I don't check my email every single day and with all the junk mail, it's possible for things to get accidentally deleted. I'd go to the auction and click on the link to send the seller an email and try sending one from there as well.

Good luck!

Well I contacted the fraud div. at ebay. Why? Because they have the very same picture in another auction of the 10 pins they are selling and it is clear they do not have all those pins. Also their phone no# on the contact information doesn't have enough digits in it to be a phone no# to anywhere much less hong kong.
In the last few days they have received many other negs looking at feedback. going way back in feedback i noticed they have neg. in spurts like 10 negs and then a bunch of pos. then a bunch of negs again. I am filing with paypal buyers protection today and square deal to see what else can be done. And by the way day two and another email sent yesterday and still no reply!
And ebay is investiagating them for fraud, should know something abt that in two to 4 days and ebay is the ones suggesting I should file with paypal ,square deal, and a fraud alert!

I logged on to my Ebay account today and they have totally changed the format!! I don't like it! Why did they do this?

Three questions:

I haven't been here for awhile, is this the only place to find an Ebay thread or did it get moved to another board? I know we had begged for a new Ebay board, but I don't see it. Is this the right thread to ask a question?

I'm trying to get going with listing again. I'm using Turbo Lister. Can anyone tell me if the postage calculator shows up automatically if I enter the shipping weight, my zip, and handling fee? I want to be sure the calculator is there.

Finally, how do you get the Bidpay/Western Union icon on your auctions? I checked the site, but can't find it anywhere.

Thanks for the help!

Yep this is the right place. We don't have a seperate board just a thread.

Yes the shipping calculator will show up if you use the calculated shipping option.

To get the logos just log into your sellers account.

I will be very interested in hearing the outcome of this--it does sound like they are scamming people!

I just got a call from my post office. I had been using the PayPal shipping labels, but, except for once, I hadn't been using the option of "tell my carrier that I'll have a package to pick up". The PO called to say that I had to use that option for two reasons. The first was that they would have a record that the package was picked up, and not just stolen before they got there. The second was because they actually get paid extra for picking up packages (these were the 12 by 12 by 8 Priority mail boxes).

I thought I'd pass that information along!

I had a somebody win my of my auctions, but never paid. I emailed them many many times about it. I finally filed a NPB on Monday and today I get this;

Hi, Payment was sent to you about two or three days after auction. I will take the copy to the post office on Mon., have it cancelled, and a knew one sent. This has happened a couple of times in the past. If the old one arrives, just send it back. I am sorry for the problem. Thanks, Mel

well, the auction ended almost a month ago. Don't you think if she had sent the payment right away she would have emailed me right back that payment had been sent, blah, blah, blah.
Seemed fishy to me, and of course now I am second guessing myself that I did receive it but didn't note it.
What do you think??
I sent her an email back saying that I had tried to contact her many times and have since relisted the item. It hasn't sold yet and there are no bids (some watchers), should I cancel just in case?

Seller's account: you mean with Ebay or with Western Union?

Thanks!

If I had mailed payment a month ago and NOT received the item, I would have contacted the seller!! I wonder where she has been?? So yes, I think it sounds fishy.

I wouldn't cancel the auction. If you get a bid, simple return the earlier buyer's payment (if you ever get it--sounds pretty unlikely!) and sell it to the new high bidder. If you don't get a bid, you could always go ahead and mail the item to the old winner if she does actually send payment.

Your Western Union seller account. As soon as you do this you will see a list of options, one of them being logos.
