I love love love to watch lightning and listen to thunder, and I also love to walk under pouring rain (when it's really hot), but I have to agree that it would have been scary to have all of that happening at the same time while having to walk long distances without any cover.

I absolutely love thunder and lightning, and watching huge crazy storms is awesome, BUT running through Animal Kingdom during them isn't as nice..lol

Sorry to hear you got stuck in terrible weather! It happened to us more than once this last trip, and a couple of times it was pretty scary!

Oh, I hate when it's like a monsoon out. The first year my friend and I did mnsshp, it poured. We made the best of it because a rainy day in Disney is better than no Disney days lol but it was pretty yucky walking around in ankle deep water.
How did you guys get the ponchos to work with wings? I'm waiting for the weather forecast to decide what to back as a costume and I really want to be a pixie again. If I could figure out wings and a poncho in case of rain...

Ugh, Florida rain can just be scary sometimes! And so much wet!! I don't mind it nearly as much in Fl as it's still hot, so I don't mind getting wet, BUT, it sucked that day!!!

I'm pretty sure we put the ponchos over our costumes, and then the wings on top...I could be wrong, lol, it's been a while! Baha. Which party will you be at this year?

Was Paige able to get the money back on the umbrella? That's the worst. I really hate buying umbrellas because I feel like they really just always break no matter what.

In case you have forgotten, Paige and I were heading down Main Street, and I had a target in my mind, Town Square Theatre! I’m pretty sure we got there a little later than Mom and I had, closer to 6:45, but hey, that was still mighty okay with this party, the crowds were definitely better! I had actually previous told Paige what was in Flynn’s satchel, and that she HAD to ask to see what was in it, so that was definitely our main target of tonight. Heck, Paige said she was okay with skipping the other couples in the room, but that would just be rude! Haha! They started letting people in right at 7:00 and we weren’t too far back in the line, so we didn’t have to wait long at all!

Paige brought up the satchel contents to Flynn, which of course he turned to me and asked “you didn’t tell her what was in it, did you?” I of course told him I didn’t, I mean, why would I break a promise to Flynn Rider?! Bahaha. We expressed concern to Rapunzel that Flynn might attempt to make away with the crown, but Flynn was quick to interject that “The last thing I stole was her heart!” and then him and Rapunzel shared adorable looks at each other. *swoon*

They were both absolutely amazing, Rapunzel once again had green eyes (yay) and they were just awesome, super interactive and talkative and just lovely! Yaaaay! Not to mention they were totally adorable and it was actually believable that they were so in love!

Snow and her Prince were up next, and we chatted for a bit about how the trip had been and all, they asked if our wings glowed when we stood back to back like Tink & Peri, and we said that we hadn’t tried, but they probably didn’t. Snow said that if you make a wish, it’ll probably come true, wishing is the best way to go. The Prince said that if we wanted to make sure it came true to check the wishing well, after all, that’s where he made his wish and it certainly came true *insert swooning look at Snow here*. These guys were on FIRE tonight with the romance!

I may or may not have said something along the lines of “UGH, I want to throw up you guys are so cute right now!” after the Prince mentioned his wish, it was seriously adorable!

While we were caught up waiting for Cindy to finish with the family in front of us, Snow and her Prince were just as in love as the day they first kissed.

They were just so dang cute!

Cinderella and Charming were also fantastic, they asked if we had just flown in from Pixie Hollow, and commented that they loved it when we flew from the castle every night during Wishes, and that we do a great job at it as well!

While we chatted about the trip and week and stuff Cinderella kept kind of, prompting Charming into some of the answers, haha, and we did find out that he was a very doting Prince and had even made Cinderella Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes that morning for breakfast in bed! How adorable!

These two rounded out the absolutely adorable and fantastic crew of Princesses & Princes that we met at MNSSHP, I don’t know what it was in that room, but all of the couples were so into everything and all had such awesome and romantic stories and one liners of everything and it definitely added to the experience! Good work!

Surprisingly, Paige and I made an interesting stop next, we had started to branch towards Adventureland, when Paige said something about needing some food, so we did what I usually think to be an “unthinkable” thing during party times, but hey, you only live once, bahaha! We stopped into Casey’s to pick up some noms and kinda just chilled for a minute while eating them!

I’m pretty sure we both had corn dog nuggets, fries and coke, a little energy and caffeine for the evening to get us going! Yay! We both enjoyed everything, I mean, you can’t go wrong with Casey’s! It’s the perfect amount for a nice little snack/small meal, and after Tusker House, it was just what we needed! Since we had been heading over to Adventureland anyways, we stopped at the veranda after we were done our meals! This of course, was to hang out with Tarzan, Jane & Terk for a bit!

The wait wasn’t nearly as bad as it had been with Mom, and we were up there in no time! Tarzan seemed to be pretty confused at our wings, and what we were, asking if we were birds, or people or what. We explained that we were fairies, and we, in fact, lived in that tree over there!

Super awesome!! Now, I won’t lie, I THINK we decided to make our way over to Tomorrowland next, to kind of kill time, and do some trick or treating, maybe we just kinda did a loop of the park? I’m not sure, ahaha! Good note taking skills Katt! Either way, we ended up over in Cosmic Rays with candy in our bags!

This is where they were having the Tomorrowland Dance Party, don’t know if it was every night, or just tonight because of the rain, but it was still fun, we danced a little bit, but did get bored kinda fast, so we made our way across the bridge into the hub, where we passed a little girl with a Nightmare Before Christmas handmade dress on, I nudged Paige to point it out and she freaked out, telling the girl she loved her dress, and she did ask for a picture too!

For the record, Paige said she would totally wear something like that, so I mentioned it was probably from Etsy, and she could probably find it there, ahaha!! Since we were right by the Rose Garden, we stopped for a fairy picture!

Yay! Super cute! We took a right turn before actually hitting the hub, as we had some more characters to go hang out with before doing anything else!

Alice and the Hatter never really have that long of a wait, and I was thankful for that! Alice asked what our names were, and we introduced ourselves. She then mentioned that I couldn’t say my name around Hatter, I would have to spell it out “C-A-T” way, so I didn’t scare the mouse that was always at the tea parties!

They were both super amazing and I was very impressed with them! I also noticed that Alice had a bit of a growth spurt since the last time I had seen her…odd…Haha! (I’ve also noticed on the casting website that she’s actually gone up to 5’2’’ to 5’4’’ now…)

We thanked our new friends and said good bye as we headed back in towards the hub to catch the show that was about to start!

Oh and to answer your question from the PTR (since of course it would make no sense to actually reply there), my current plan for this year is Christmas time, like December 3 to 11 or 12 or so. Something like that anyway. I hope.

Ok, so I was reading your PTR and saw pictures of you and Paige in your halloween costumes and I was really confused because I didn't remember seeing them. Well, I was just a bit behind on this TR!

I wonder if anyone ever buys those cookies shaped like Disney characters. I wanted to get a Pluto one but they are not cheap and I just couldn't see myself eating Pluto!

Wow, that rain was something else. I've been so lucky, in my last four trips to Disney I've had about an hour of rain total! I'm beginning to wonder if people are just making up that it rains all the time at WDW.

Tusker House is one I haven't made it to yet. It always goes on the list but hasn't made the final cut yet. Just another reason to go back to WDW (like we need an excuse).

I love your Tinkerbell and Periwinkle costumes! So cute and it looks like you had a great start to the Halloween party. The only characters I want to meet for sure during the party is the County Bears if they are out. Yeah, I know I'm weird. DH will probably have a longer list.

Thats what I do for halloween!! It's all about thefharacters & the festive stuff! I dont understand the people that go on rides durin the party, like, you paid extra for this! Lol

Like, if you get in line at 6:30 and the line isn't long, you're not gonna get through for the regular meet during the day right because that would be silly!

They have a separate line that will start forming sometime after five [ish] or whenever people start lining up. It'll start out in the lobby of the theater, towards the Tony's waiting area. They hold you there until the official start of the party so that you're not mixed in with day guests. My guess is that they keep one room open, with just the day princesses to do their last set while the other two are prepped for party guests!

I cannot wait to meet them again!! I really love having them out in couples, the interaction is just better, as they interact with each other as well as you, and it was great to see how "in love" these guys were It was awesome! I really like to see that kind of stuff as well, makes it super believable haha!

Yup! That’s right!! It was time for the Villains Mix & Mingle! Yaaaaay!! I love the colors of the castle at Halloween, they’re just great!

Work those fog machines!

The cards, the cards, the cards will tell!! I love that they’ve made Dr Facilier the new face of the Villains show, though I do wish they’d change it up for next year! I’d like to see some other ones in there, or Maleficent back as the head honcho! I just feel like she’s more of a bad guy, Facilier is like Lucius Malfoy, he’s only bad because the Voodoo tells him to be bad (Like Voldemort with the Malfoy thing) he’s kind of just a coward… But he does make a pretty good dancer!

Also I *really* wish they would bring in some of the characters from Once Upon A Time into the parks for special events. I know it’d be hard as they’re all real actors/people, and look a likes of real people are hard to do, but wouldn’t it be AWESOME!? Bahah. It’s another idea for costumes for next year, I would love to be Regina, although I pretty much have everything to put together an Emma costume, lawl.

Paige and I really enjoyed the show, and were impressed with all the dancers, it would be pretty sweet to be in the Halloween show!! I asked which character she’d like to meet the most, and she said Facilier, so we made our way over to his line as the show was ending, and it wasn’t long before we were saying hello!

He was all “Hello ladies, what’ve we got here, some little pixies, how nice” and all, he seriously was PERFECT! Paige told him he was her favourite bad guy, and he replied “Oh, I’m not a bad guy!” I half expected him to continue on with “I’m just drawn that way…” Baha, I would’ve lawled if he did. Also, he was GIANT, like, he’s REALLY bent down and he’s still huge next to us!

I mean, I get that sometimes Paige and I are actually pixie height (she is, I’m above it by an inch and a half) but really, I felt TEENY next to Facilier, haha. We thanked him for our time, and made on our way, we had another friend to say hello to!!

The next main meet and greet that I can’t miss is my original Disney boyfriend, Gaston! (and yes, I am VERY glad he’s out for meet and greets by his tavern daily now) This one ended up moving so quickly that I’ve only got photopass pictures of it, but hey, I’ll accept that too!

We chatted for a little bit and Gaston asked how our day was, and what we had done. He commented that our “day was now made” since we had now met him, baha! Oh Gaston!

Since we were in the hub, and it was nearing that time, we kinda just stayed put along the railing where Gaston does his meet and greets, and chose to sit there for the fireworks. A couple beside us asked if it was an okay spot, and I explained that some of them would be half blocked by the tree, but it would totally fine! While we were waiting for the show to begin, I saw a certain someone (a costume for the party!) roaming the crowd, and again, nudged Paige, and she ran up to please ask for a picture!

She had promised her boyfriend a picture of Jack, and if that was the best she could get, that was the best she could get! (dang people and their telling the wrong information of things!) Then it was time for fireworks! Yaaay! I really love Hallowishes, and Paige did too, especially since Mr Oogie narrated it, I mean, who better to deal with Halloween stuff? I’m really hoping there’s some more Nightmare Before Christmas stuff that goes on next year, I heard that DAYS after we left, Sally & Jack appeared out at DTD for a couple of days, and I’m hoping that was a sign that they’ll be making appearances next year, it only makes sense.

Paige and I left the hub through Adventureland to hit up some more candy trails and slowly find a place for the second parade of the night, but stopped to see a furry friend with literally NO line!

Hadn’t seen him out before at MNSSHP! And I mean, who’s going to skip a character with no line?! Certainly not Katt! Lawl. We continued on, and ended up having to put our poncho’s back on as the rain had begun again…at least we had ponchos this time! We also picked a spot over in Frontierland for the parade. Boo to You did end up being delayed for a bit, and I was wondering if the horseman would even ride tonight as the ground was slippery, but he did!

Yay! Paige and I may have gotten wet again, but we were excited!

Now, I know this has been a superbly short update, but hey, I have lots of parade pictures and stories to tell next!!

Ha! Me too. I'm doing MNSSHP for the first time and Katt's posts are just making me more and more excited to experience it. We're note there til halloween itself though, so will have to live vicariously for a little longer.
