You Guys Part of the Family? You've Got the Magic In Your Eyes!!->Updated 10/19x3!!!!

We continued along our way over toward Liberty Square, and I noticed that there was no Tiana & Naveen out yet, and my app was telling me that the fairies had a 45 minute wait, so we headed towards the best place to cool down on a hot day, Splash Mountain!!

IMG_0332.jpg

This was the other benefit to heading to MK on our first day, my Mom would get a taste of the “Disney Rollercoasters” on the easy scale before I made her go on something like Everest. My opinion for this trip was that if I could do it, she would have no problem, and that’s generally what we did. I’m pretty sure she liked it, haha, and of course, it’s just great! Ack, Splash Mtn, how I love thee!

Mom and I kinda just wandered through the park, doing half a circle, and going through Fantasyland, I, of course, wanted to see if by some chance of amazing luck, the expansion was open. Haha. I had heard much before leaving about how it was open completely randomly, and I wasn’t sure if this was a “hey, you family, come over here” and they’d let you in, or if the door would just be open randomly, and if you passed by at the right time, you’d get to go in. However, we had no such luck, so we cut through the hub, and back to the main goal of this MK rendezvous, Liberty Square! The line for the previous meet & greet was already closed, but it was actually the Prince I was looking for! Yay! It was time to see what would go down! We jumped in the line for the next set, and were either first or second in line for that, and just took a nice time waiting. Honestly, sometimes waiting for characters can be the nice break in the day, you just have to be okay with sitting on the ground once in a while! Haha!!

While we were waiting my Mom was sure to ask if I wanted to go in alone for this meet and greet first, and then have her come in, which of course was the answer, and she was sure to ask the typical Mom question on whether it was more the Prince, or the “friend” or the Prince that I liked more. Baha….a little of column A, a little of column B? Right? Ha! Tiana & Naveen made their way back out towards the meet and greet, and when they hit the little gate that they come in (and you go out at the end of the meet and greet) well, Naveen’s face lit up immediately, and was all “HEEEY!! How are you?! How have you been??”

Seriously, old friends reunited, right there, it was amazing enough when he remembered me in April, but it did take him a little bit, this time it was seriously instant, and straight into conversation, asking whether I was here alone, I pointed to my Mom, saying that we were down for her birthday, he asked how long we were staying; I told him the rough plans of the trip, and that I had a friend coming in on the 15th, Naveen asked whether it was the same friend or not, I told him it was a new one, and she hadn’t been here before. Seriously. Amazing.

Mom had to jump in on the action too of course, and they were all introduced and started talking as well.

Photo0069FourBySix.jpg

Naveen asked when we’d be back in Magic Kingdom next, and I told him on Thursday, then Friday for the MNSSHP, Sunday for EMH, and again later in the trip. He said “Great! I’ll be here Thursday” to which he kinda got a look from Tiana, and he quickly corrected himself to “Well, I mean, of course I’ll be here, I’m always here after the parade, but I’ll definitely be here on Thursday” Oh Naveen. We got talking a bit on whether I’d had another chance to audition recently, and I explained that I was still waiting to hear back from the electronic submissions, and that we had our fingers crossed for some good news!

Photo0065FourBySix.jpg

Photo0072FourBySix.jpg

Epic meet & greet? I think yes. Seriously, this friend of Naveen’s is my favorite just because of *how* he does his job, he’s pretty internet (tumblr) famous for being able to stick 6 coco-puffs up his nose, and being, well, attractive, but I’ve heard many stories about how he has remembered other people as well, and he’s very accommodating to kids who don’t want to meet the princes. He’ll leave the gazebo, but still stay involved with the meet and greet by talking to Tiana and being hilarious. I will openly say there are better friends of Naveen’s who more look the part, or act the part, but honestly, to me, you can look exactly like the character, but not be great because your attitude isn’t right, ANYWAY, that went a lot longer than I thought it would……

We waved good bye to our New Orleans friends and headed back over to check on the fairies, I’d been DYING to meet Periwinkle since she had been announced (I actually really wanted to be friends with her, I mean, I do live in the “winter woods” but since she’s Tink’s sister, she’s 5’2’’ and under…too bad) and now was finally the time!! I’d been nervous that she’d just still be in training during our trip, and not officially out, but she was! Yay! I’m not sure what the actual wait time was posted at, but we got in, in around 20 minutes, not to shabby! We chatted with the people in line, and I definitely gave them the advice that it would be Periwinkle and Tink today, and probably for the next little bit.

Pixie Hollow has changed around a little bit too, usually, it would be one of Tink’s friends (Vidia, Terrance or Rosetta) and then Tink, but today, it was set up all Winter Wood-sey (to make Peri feel more at home) and Tink was the first one to meet! She’s all dressed up in her winter woods gear too! Gotta stay warm in that cold!

Photo0074FourBySix.jpg

Photo0075FourBySix.jpg

When we first rounded the corner into the Nook, Mom turned to me and asked “who is that?” Clearly, not having any kids under 23, she hasn’t seen any of the new Tink movies, she had no idea about the whole new wardrobe and friends, and while we were in line I explained the whole “talking, and she isn’t nearly as mean or feisty” thing, but Mom seriously didn’t realize that was supposed to be Tink! Ha! I explained about her winter woods gear, and she caught on quickly.

Tinkerbell was absolutely amazing, I know I’ve met this one before, but she is just great! She’s super chatty, talks amazingly fast, knows practically everything, and barely leaves you any room to get a word in! Haha! Some characters are great for that, and chatting away, and some just leave that awkward silence when you don’t have a lot to say, I was glad she was super chatty!

Next up, the one I had been waiting for, Periwinkle! IEEEEE SHE’S SO ADORABLE!!

Photo0081FourBySix.jpg

Photo0083FourBySix.jpg

She was absolutely perfect! I mean, I know the movie’s not released yet, but she was just like Tink, chatting away, was 100% pixie sized, and had just the most adorable freckles, seriously, just perfect, I was so happy!

IMG_0338.jpg

Photo0084FourBySix.jpg

We chatted a bit about how excited I was to meet her, how we came from the winter woods, and how I was even being her for one of the Halloween parties later in the week. She told me to make sure to come back and see her that night, and I told her I would. Ugh! Perfect Periwinkle is PERFECT!

With our visit to Pixie Hollow done, we started to head out of the park, it was a MNSSHP night, and the guests were starting to fill in. I have no idea what time it was, but around 6:00pm ish, and we had Illuminations to get back to Epcot for, so it was time to go! Some great character meets and Splash Mountain? Seemed like a great MK adventure!

Mom and I were back at Epcot relatively quickly, as much as I love the monorail, it does get pretty annoying to have to transfer at the TTC, and have to go all the way down the ramp, and back up the other one (I’m pretty sure that’s going EP to MK, but whatevs, you get my point) but it’s definitely quicker than the bus! The day the monorail connects all the parks, is the day I die happy! Haha!

It had been a while since we had last eaten, and I was getting a little hungry, just like, snack worthy, and I still wanted that margarita from earlier, ha! Naturally, we headed back towards Mexico, and grabbed some Fiesta Margaritas from the little margarita stand in Mexico!

Mom had the idea of getting a seat in La Cantina up by the water, that way we could see the show, but she was hesitant about going in there with the margaritas, wouldn’t it be like brining a Burger King drink into McDonalds?! Baha, oh mother, not at all, plus I was planning on getting some munchies anyways. All the good seats were of course, taken, and we barely got a seat as is, but we did! I picked up some tortilla chips and guacamole to nom on while we waited, and paid OOP for them.

IMG_0340.jpg

The chips were good, they were a little too crunchy for my taste, like, super crunchy, but the guac made up for it, it was amazing, had a kick to it too, yum! The margarita was delicious, as always, and Mom enjoyed hers as well. Since we didn’t have a seat near the water, and it didn’t look like one was going to empty any time soon, we finished the snack, and then found a nice little place right in the cusp of Mexico and Norway to watch Illuminations.

IMG_0345.jpg

IMG_0348.jpg

Can we just talk for a second about how “dusk” appears to not exist in Orlando?? Like, one second, it’s light out, just maaaybe about to hit dusk, you go inside to use the washroom, come out, and it’s practically pitch black! It happens so fast! We waited at least half an hour, and there was a giant tour group filling in to one side of us, but on the other was a lovely couple of had a condo in the area that we spent some time chatting with. It’s always nice to get to know your “neighbors” in Disney haha! They had also been over to DLR a lot, and of course, that brought up the “what’s better” conversation, I of course, love WDW a lot more, although DLR wins hands down with their night time shows, World Of Color is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen, and their fireworks are amazing. This kind of led in to comparing Illuminations to WOC, which just isn’t fair for Illuminations haha! But now, it was show time!

With the show over, we waited a little bit for things to clear out, and I think made a bathroom stop and just kinda lingered out of Epcot. I just don’t like getting in that huge crowd of people headed to the busses, truth, it’s worst at MK, but I like to take my time. I also noticed the “pixie dust” trapped in the ground beside Spaceship Earth today! (the little lights in the ground) I may have reacted like a 6 year old as well… Since there were still photopass people out, we stopped for a picture before heading home!

Photo0086FourBySix.jpg

This TR I’ve decided to take a leaf out of Jess’s book, and do a “food of the day” and just summarize the day here for you all/myself. Yay.

Food of the Day: A tie between the Mushroom Filet & the Grand Marnier Slush!

IMG_0191.jpg

Highlights of the day: -Not getting sick on Soarin! Yay, another ride to do
-Seeing some Princesses/characters out in training! I will be there one day soon!
-Coco-puff ….that’s all that needs to be said, right?

Downs: I just wish there was more to explore in WS!!

I'm afraid we won't get to ride Splash Mountain this trip, the weather is just going to be too cool. :sad1: Maybe we'll get lucky and have some warmer days.

Your meet and greet with Tiana and Naveen and the fairies look like so much fun! I always get the "awkward silence" ones so I tend to avoid the meet and greets!

Those Margaritas look fabulous! Another drink to add to my list to try!

I'm going to have to keep an eye on the "dusk" in Disney next time to see if I notice the same thing as you.

Late arriving but I'm following along.

Hey! Glad you could make it!

I'm afraid we won't get to ride Splash Mountain this trip, the weather is just going to be too cool. :sad1: Maybe we'll get lucky and have some warmer days.

Ah boo!! Hopefully it won't be that chilly while we're down there!! Ahaha, meet & greets with Naveen are always a blast, he's just hilarious. Those 2 are just great, they're usually really chatty too! Oh goodness those margaritas were so great!! Definitely get one!

I'm going to have to keep an eye on the "dusk" in Disney next time to see if I notice the same thing as you.

Bahaha! Be sure to report back haha!

It was day 2 of our trip, and we were excited to get going!! And honestly, Mom was probably excited that we didn’t have to be up at the complete crack of dawn today! Hhaha, we were up probably around 7:30, somewhere in there, I don’t know for sure! Since I knew we’d have a bit of extra time today, we got ready and headed down to the Mara to get some noms for breakfast

1.jpg

3.jpg

Even the carpets are themed in Disney!

4.jpg

5.jpg

I don’t think I can get over the awesomeness that was walking into AKL for the first time of the trip. Every time I see that lobby I just love it so much, definitely a new favorite resort, if only I had the money to stay there every time baha!

The Mara was not crowded at all, another note of the Deluxe resorts, the food courts are never crowded, I was also please that they had some different options for meals, but we both went pretty basic and got the Bounty Platter!

6.jpg

Since I’ve been changing up my lifestyle & my eating habits, I try to base my meals with some protein first, then fruit/veggies, then any carbs, so breakfast gets a little challenging on the road sometimes, especially on the DDP, where what I would call a breakfast meal is like, 3 snacks, uhm no. I’m pretty sure I only ate the eggs, and half of the waffle, and maybe a sausage, Disney bacon just doesn’t cut it for me! It was good food though! And it was also super handy to have our mugs so we could fill them with fresh coffee to enjoy, for free! Yay! Once we were done eating, I’m pretty sure Mom put the mugs in her bag (it’s way bigger) and we headed down to the bus stop!

Mara Review: 4/5.
-They were never crowded, but for someone who’s used to the millions of options at value resorts, the breakfast options are kinda limited, and they could use some healthier options for breakfast, more fruit!

7.jpg

Where were we going today? Why, Disney’s Hollywood Studios of course! Yay! DHS has some serious lovin from me going on, but it’s also the park I can skip pretty easily if I’m doing a shorter trip, there’s not a whole lot for me in it, and the CS food sucks, but hey, it’s all good! Mom and I headed straight into Pixar Place to get to Toy Story Mania (I mean, naturally, what else would we do?) and I explained briefly what the ride/game was. We grabbed fast passes, and when I noticed the wait was only 5 minutes, I suggested we just jump into the line, I mean really, who’s going to turn that down?!?!

8.jpg

9.jpg

10.jpg

So much love for all of the things in this line up, and the fact that you’re “toy sized” when you’re going through it….awesome!

11.jpg

12.jpg

Tinkertoys! Seriously, what kid nowadays knows about these?? I’m pretty sure I only know about them cause my Mom’s old set was at my grammas house and I’d play with them there! Ha!

Our thoughts on the actual ride: AWESOME! I forget how much I love it, and how excited I am when we’re done the ride haha. Mom also really enjoyed it, I mean, it’s something fun, competitive, easy enough, and just great overall! Here are our scores from the ride:

13.jpg

And yes, I was player 1 baha! This also marked the first trip that I won something other than a bunny at the end! I’ve moved up a level! Heck yes!! I was proud!

With our journey through Toy Land over, and the fast passes not ready to use yet, we headed down towards another one of my favorites: PLAYHOUSE DISNEY!!

Aahahahha….kidding…I’ve never been inside there…I think I’d be more inclined to check it out if there were benches or something… We did however, stop for some photopass pictures on our way down Sunset Boulevard! I’m sure that this first photo was supposed to be some sort of magic shot (and thanks to pictures later in the trip, I now know who was supposed to be on my hand) BUT they didn’t turn them out. I seriously had some problems with that this trip, we had numerous magic shots that didn’t turn out, and Paige & I took a jumping photo (at night at DHS) that the photographer said “you’ll turn out ghosty in the picture” she showed it to us, and we were okay with it, but then it got deleted before it got put up…boourns. Photopass was just very iffy this trip…

Photo0087FourBySix.jpg

Photo0089FourBySix.jpg

Photo0091FourBySix.jpg

I do really like the balloon ones! They’re super cute!!

Photo0092FourBySix.jpg

Photo0094FourBySix.jpg

It’s also fun to do the magic shots with people who haven’t done them before, and then they get all confused at first at what they’re doing, and then all excited that something cool’s gonna show up there! It’s awesome!

Photo0095FourBySix.jpg

Photo0097FourBySix.jpg

….let’s just leave my princess hand out of this….seriously….that’s the automatic photo pose I go to….

Photo0099FourBySix.jpg

Scared faces! Eeeek! Tower of Terror so scarrrryyy!! Which is, of course, where we were headed next!

14.jpg

This was one that I was very clear and precise when explaining it to Mom, I mean, I want to brace her for what’s coming, but sometimes it’s better to leave it as a surprise, so I’d just say “it’s like a coaster” or something like that for most of them, but ToT is like the drop of doom, and that’s important to do, free falling drop. Were we scared??

15.jpg

Duh…it’s pretty terrifying!! The wait time was posted at 10 minutes, nice and short for a morning ride, and it was nicer to walk straight into the library, and after the video, we waited under 5 minutes to get into our elevator. We made sure to store our Mickey ears and we were off! IIIIEEEE. It was great, there were super awesome long drops and the ride itself was longer than I remembered some of them being last time!

16.jpg

Yay! Mom also told me that she definitely didn’t need coffee and that much adrenaline in the morning, she could have skipped the coffee! Ha! ToT is like, my go to when it’s the middle of the afternoon and I’m starting to lag, adrenaline’s a great wake up!

Mom and I had just been woken up by our good friend adrenaline after a nice short stay in the Hollywood Hotel, and were headed back to the other side of the park again. (DHS, lots of backtracking, ugh) The bonus of lots of backtracking, lots more opportunities for photopass!

Photo0101FourBySix.jpg

The photographer was great, she then said “now, since you’ve both got sunglasses on…” and I immediately started to take mine off, I’m just used to the PPP’s being all “now one without the sunglasses” but she stopped me, and had us pose like movie stars!

Photo0102FourBySix.jpg

Ha! Awesome! We thanked her and continued on to possibly go visit a mermaid friend of ours, but the showtime was still 15 minutes away. I wasn’t concerned about not fitting in the theatre, so we moseyed on over to One Man’s Dream for a bit to explore in there while killing time!

I could spend so much time in this exhibit (is that what you’d call it?) There’s just so much to look at, and so much to learn! I (finally) got one of the Walt biographies, and may not be far into it, but am absolutely loving it so far, there’s just so much creative imagination in that mind, it’s amazing!

21.jpg

22.jpg

23.jpg

24.jpg

“Keep Moving Forward” also a quote from an amazing Disney movie that just gets SHAFTED!! Meet the Robinsons, it’s absolutely amazing, if you haven’t seen it, download it now and watch it, it’s amazing, and hilarious!!

25.jpg

New Fantasyland model!!! Yaaaay! Here’s the Storybook Circus area:

26.jpg

The Snow White Coaster Area:

27.jpg

Little Mermaid! (can we talk about how it’s Prince Eric’s castle, but he won’t be out….)

28.jpg

And Beauty & the Beast, words cannot express how excited I am for all of this!

29.jpg

UGH!

30.jpg

I don’t know if many of you have heard the story on why Mickey was out with Roy (story, urban legend, rumour, whatever lol). Apparently Roy was super upset at the opening of WDW, saying that he couldn’t do the official opening without his brother, it was his dream, he needed to be there and see it. They got Mickey, and he helped, because Mickey was Walt, Walt was Mickey, and that’s just how it worked!

31.jpg

So awesome. I also just love all the Walt quotes, he was so supportive of dreams, working for them, and them coming true. Imagination was something he valued so much, and the fact that all of this, Disneyland, Disney World, Disney, was for children of all ages. The original reason he wanted to build DLR was because he wanted a place where both him and his children could go and have fun together, rather than the kids ride a carousel at a park while he sat on a bench. Biggest argument right there when people say “Disney World’s for kids.” Yeah. Suck it. Baha! In case you didn’t know, Disney may or may not be a passion of mine….

Someday I will stay at AKL! It looks so beautiful but I haven't been able to justify the cost since I basically use the room to sleep and shower.

Awesome that TSM was only a 5 minute wait! I've never seen it less than 1/2 hour.

All of the photo pass pictures look great, you got some really nice ones! Weird though that the first magic shoot didn't work.

I love One Man's Dream. It's nice to get out of the sun and spend some time in there and it's never crowded. Oh and I agree that Meet the Robinsons is a awesome movie. I know that they can't have a ride for every Disney movie but the could do something to acknowledge all of them!

That's exactly what I say to people who say "Disney is just for kids". Hum, no, Walt build it expressly for the ENTIRE family, and people of all ages.

Your comment about the bunny on TSM prompted me to go look back at my score pictures. turns out there is also a beaver level in between the bunny and the cat. Never got higher than the cat though...

Oh, and let me just say how much I love that your mom is wearing Minnie ears!

Ahahaha, yeah, I usually can't justify it, especially with the money I make, lawl, but whatever, it was a special trip, and it is the cheapest of the Deluxes!

If you get there early enough, you'll see that! Not to mention during Sept all of the lins are usually under 30 mins.

Thanks! I'm actually a huge fan of the pp's we got today, they were great!

Ugh, One Man's Dream, I wish there was EVEN MOOOORE to it, I could spend forever in there :worship:

EXACTLY! He's also been quoted saying "if you just market to children you're dead, besides, adults are just grown up kids anyways" something along those lines!

YES! I got the beaver this trip too, but haven't managed to get higher than that haha.

Haha, I loved it, I got them for her for Christmas as part of her surprise, so it was kind of a "you have to wear them" I just love that she went all out and wore them, had her pin trading going on, AND had her princess autograph book haha :cutie:

Sounds like a great morning! How awesome that TSMM was only a 5 minute wait! I'm glad your mom got to see the full queue. It rocks.

Love that it's only day 2 but your mom's already wearing the ears. She seems to be having such fun.

It was awesome!! I'm glad we got to go through the full cue, it has so much awesome stuff in it! Haha, Mom definitely had fun, and the ears, well....there's more on that soon haha

Since we had just been killing time before VOTLM, Mom and I skipped the movie over at One Man’s Dream, saying we’d come back to it later, and headed back over to get in line for the theatre, and got in right away. I was super excited to play around with my camera for this one, and ended up getting some great photos.

32.jpg

33.jpg

While we were waiting for the show to start, I know we chatted a bit about Princess look-a-likes (aka, I was dying to check my email and there was no wireless in DHS yet) and just how even if I got my tattoo fully removed, I still might not be able to be friends with Ariel in her fin, as I’ve got a rather large chest. Mom didn’t see how that was a problem, but seriously, it’s rare you find a busty princess, or anything like that, they’re usually pretty small, and if you have a bigger chest, it seriously just makes you look bigger (Paige and I may or may not have had a very similar conversation haha!)

34.jpg

35.jpg

36.jpg

We were sitting fairly close to the front of the theatre, and it was definitely possible to see some of the people working the puppets, but it didn’t take away from anything, so that’s good!

37.jpg

38.jpg

39.jpg

Oh hey Ariel, favsies!! Also, can we talk about how Ariel has like, a million different styles of outfits?! She’s first off, got her dress, her parade dress then she’s got this kind of outfit, then the one that has the skin coloured/sparkaly shirt that has the seashells on it, then there’s the DLR parade version, and like, at least 2 different fin styles. Jeeze, she gets it all! Hhha.

40.jpg

41.jpg

42.jpg

43.jpg

Clearly, I was loving the zoom on my camera, and seriously so happy with the way pictures were turning out, it really had been a blessing in disguise when my camera got stolen/went missing. Ha! It would have been around this point that Mom said something about Ariel being pretty chesty, and that “see, I would be fine”. I made the argument that she was hired under a completely different basis, she was hired to sing, to sound like Ariel, and was a “Disney equity” member, versus a “character look alike”. Yup…don’t try to argue Disney with me….bahha! In fairness I think she was just trying to give me hope haha, but whatevs.

44.jpg

45.jpg

47.jpg

48.jpg

Ursula could really use an upgrade, seriously….actually…this whole show could, you think they’d do a little more, especially since Little Mermaid has it’s own broadway show now, but whatever, just leave 3/4 of the show out, no biggie! Ha.

49.jpg

50.jpg

51.jpg

52.jpg

I’ve also been wondering recently about the Prince Eric in this show, was he hired on as a look alike, or just for this show?! Like, here, we’re gonna hire you to lie on a rock, and mouth along to a voice over. Ha! (For those curious, I’m 99% sure it’s just one of his “friends” from out in the parks, thanks to pictures I’ve seen recently, I’ve figured it out!) Ariel was great this show, I was impressed!!!

Little Mermaid is seriously one of my loves, I grew up with it, but in the last couple of years, Ariel’s become more of my favorite, and I could watch that movie seriously all day. I honestly think part of it’s because she’s all “I’ll be part of that world someday” and she years to explore, fit it, and just BE part of a different world, and I feel that way about working for Disney. In the reprise, when Ariel’s all “I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but I know something’s starting right now. Watch and you’ll see, one day I’ll be part of your word.” Yeah, that’s my feelings towards Disney Parks! UGH. LOVE.

Time for a little life update! In case you can't tell by my ticker, I'm nearly ready to leave for Disney!! I'm travelling solo but am meeting some people down there and it should be a blast! Big downside: last night we had a little dance party at the theatre after work, and somewhere in there, the boyfriend stepped on/stubbed my pinky toe, and it's now broken/really badly sprained :scared: I'm currently sitting here with it on a bag of frozen peas...ha! It hurts to walk, so I'm sure that will be fun over the weekend, ugh. Hopefully it turns out to be okay over the next couple of days!

I will still be updating while I'm gone, and feel free to message me for a facebook add, or follow me on twitter (KattWy) for a play by play of the trip, it's sure to be fun!! Yay!

Oh! And happy belated Thanksgiving to you all!!

Our voyage under the sea was finished, and Mom and I had some fast passes that were just itching to be used, and since we were practically there already, why not head back to Toy Story Mania!? When we got to the part where they take your fast passes/you pick up the glasses, we told them we were a party of two, and we got through that little blue gate on the right! YAYAYYAYA. Seriously, you beat like, another half of the line if they let you through there, we pretty much walked on to TSM at like, 10:30am! Yay.

Its safe to say that I beat Mom again, but really, I grew up in the video game generation (not that I play a whole lot though) and I have the TSM app on my phone baha! Unfair advantages! Another great ride!

Since we had pretty much done all the rides we wanted, I pulled out the show schedule as we exited the ride and went towards the back of the park, and we talked over shows. There was no way I was missing Beauty and the Beast, and Mom said she was more interested in Indiana Jones than Lights Motor Action, so we chose to see that one instead, and crossed other things off the schedule. We had some time before our next goal, so we wandered, and found a little umbrella!

I tried stepping on the thing to actually make it rain, but it wasnt turned on/set up or something. Sad face.

While we wandered through the SoA, we agreed that they really need some more back there, like, even some streetmosphere would be okay! I mean, theres just NOTHING back there now, not even a photopass person.

Dont get me wrong, I do love walking through, but theres nothing to do but that, so once youve seen it, youve seen it, and I dont mean once a trip, I mean once! Lol

Our aimless wandering really didnt last long, but I did want to get to the Beauty and the Beast theatre early, get some good seats to get some amazing photos. And if youve read any trip reports of mine, you know what comes hand in hand with that show&cupcakes&. Naturally, our next stop was Starring Rolls. I had definitely thought that we were going to share one, but Mom ordered two, or made some comment about each of us getting one, so we got our cupcakes (and I warned Mom to just carry it in her hand, not use the flimsy paper plate, shed lose it in seconds) and we made our way down the street.

Starring Rolls Review: I give it a 4/5.
- It just needs more space, it gets waaay to crowded inside,
Its one of the only places to get good counter service in DHS.
The food there is always great, fresh and delicious!

Oh hey you delicious piece of heaven&mmmm. YUM. However it became VERY apparent right now that I have really changed my eating habits around, I couldnt even finish half of the cupcake! I couldnt exactly save it for later either, it wouldnt keep really well haha, so I ended up throwing the other half away. EGADS. I know, its seriously a shame, but I just couldnt do it! It was too sweet! We waited for about 10 minutes, and then headed into the theatre!

You have a boyfriend?! Is this new, or did I just assume all along that you were single?

Looks like they had already started putting up the Osborne lights in the Streets of America.

Throwing away a red velvet cupcake. Shame on you. :sad2: :p

Have a great trip!

Ahahahahaha this is a new thing! Lol, its been a long time coming, but is actually official now haha! I wouldn't swoon over Naveen quite so much if I hadnt been single!

Yeah! The downside of the lights is you cant get to the umbrella at Christmas!

I know! I know! I suck! Lol, maybe I'll eat one later today? (totes in line for TSMM right now!)
