"You Guys Are Cast Members... Right?" - A December 2011 TR

I'm so jealous you got to meet Rapunzel and Eugene! I love both of them SO much! I wouldn't exactly say I have a crush on Eugene, but he is pretty adorable for an animated character...I hope he's at the Christmas party this year, I will definitely be waiting in line to meet him!

And OMG that birthday cake is adorable! :cool1:

I like Aurora, but it is weird she isn't in Sleeping Beauty very much. The fairies absolutely make that movie, I love Merryweather, she's my favorite! :cool1: I think the dress looks better blue, btw.

I'm sorry you got sick at Disney, that's not fun at all, I know how it feels! :( It's the last place you want to be feeling bad, but sometimes it happens! I hope you felt better the next day!

I love that pin! I don't collect pins, but some of them are SO cute! :thumbsup2

Oh no! I'm so sorry you felt sick again! It doesn't make for much of a party mood.

I love your pictures with Rapunzel and Flynn. They are my No. 1 must-do at MNSSHP in October. We did the 7 Dwarfs at the start of last year's party. But this year, my focus is on Rapunzel and Flynn (well, mainly Flynn :rolleyes1).

The Chip and Dale pin is really cute! I only started pin trading in 2011 and I really like it so far. I bought an extra lanyard on my last trip for all my special pins (events and stuff) that I won't ever trade.

I hope you felt better enough to make it through the party!

First, I am so sorry that you were sick again That is just terrible and one of my legitimate fears- being sick in Disney.

Second, I am SOOOOOO jealous that you got to meet Rapunzel and Flynn!!! I mean I will get to meet Rapunzel soon but not FLYNN! Ah! His smolder is great! Haha!

I hope you get to feeling better in your next update!!!

Oh also, I love your Rapunzel Birthday cake! You should see the Rapunzel one I am going to make Sam for her birthday next week. I will have to take a picture and put it on my PTR!!

Thank you! You're so sweet. I wouldn't wish that on anyone! Still, it could have been worse. :thumbsup2

I KNOW!!! I still can't believe they took him away. He's so popular! I had heard a couple months ago that since they were moving Merida into Rapunzel's old spot, that they'd be moving Rapunzel to Adventureland and bringing Flynn back. But then they said that wouldn't be happening and that they would be building a whole new meet and greet for Rapunzel AND Flynn in Fantasyland, sometime in the summer or fall. So I really hope it does happen! Everyone should get to meet Eugene.

Yes, you should put up a pic of Sam's cake, I'd love to see it!

UUUGgghhhh! I'm so sorry that you were sick! That's the pits.

I am so totally jealous that you met the gorgeous Eugene. Maddie would have died. And, you're not weird. When I was your age, I had a crush on Aladdin (still kinda do). The animated one, not the one at Disney. Well, maybe we're both weird, but we're not alone.

Have you started pin trading, or are you just building a collection?

I hope that you enjoyed the party despite being sick (I just realized that this is the 3rd TR I've read in which someone got sick at either MNSSHP or MVMCP), and I hope you found your friends!

Thank you!

Hahah! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I've had a crush on Eric for as long as I can remember, but for Flynn, I think he just looks SO REAL. The animation is amazing and he's so attractive and awesome and I just can't help it! :rotfl:

For now I'm building a collection, and I have THREE. Hahah, impressive collection I know. But I do want to do trading. I might try to get a starter set and see where it takes me, but I'm keeping the ones I have now. They're special!

OH WOW. Are you serious? That's such a weird coincidence. And so sad! :(

I love your pin!

I really love your birthday cake! That really is too cute.

Ugh - so sorry you got sick again. And the crowds look ridiculous. I am so glad we decided not to go to that party! That is just TOO many people. And where did all your friends disappear to?

Please feel better soon!

Thank you! I love it too. I was so excited when I found it!

It was adorable and also QUITE delicious!

Thank you! Yeah, Main Street tends to be very congested during the parties because of all the entertainment! The good news is that the crowds definitely do spread out in the other lands. But yeah, I think yall made a good choice not going on that particular night! Haha well, they kept walking and got lost in the crowd while I was in my own little world trying to take a picture of a shoe.

So jealous that you got to meet Rapunzal AND Flynn!! I hope I can drag "the boys" with me to meet them in March.

I hope you felt better the next day, but you are being a real trooper in the parks! (edit: okay, that made me sound really old! but you know what I mean)

I was just over the top excited to meet them! I just love Tangled so much haha. You should definitely meet them! If dragging the boys is the only way you're going to get to meet them, then drag them you must! :lmao:

I definitely felt better the next day, thank goodness! Hahah no no, that doesn't make you sound old! I appreciate it, thank you!

We got to see Rapunzel and Flynn at MNSSHP. DD was so excited. We definitely waited over an hour. But it was worth it !!

I love your pin !!!

Yay! I totally get her excitement haha! I agree, I think it was totally worth it!

Thank you! I was so glad I picked that one. I love it!

Noooo!!!!! Sickness go away!! Come again NOT IN DISNEY!!! I am so sorry you felt so sick!

I am glad that you were able to meet Rapunzel and Flynn, though!! How cool!!! I love that you love them so much!! :rotfl2: Its so cute!!

How strange about that lost baby shoe! How sad!

OMG I'm soooo into pins now too!! :rotfl: My mom got me a couple when she went in April, and I am HOOKED! I can't wait to build my collection!! :goodvibes

Aww, thank you! I know, it was such a bummer. I don't get sick that often so I definitely wasn't expecting it!

Me too! I just adore them! Hahaha thank you! I really do love them. They're my almost-favorite Disney couple now! (Ariel and Eric have been number one for life, but the Tangled crew has seriously gained on them!)

I know! It was the weirdest thing! It's like oh, THERE'S a shoe... I'm guessing the parents weren't too happy when they discovered their child/baby wearing one shoe haha.

Aren't they so addicting? I can't get enough! After I bought the first one, every time I saw a pin display in one of the stores I had to rip myself away! :rotfl:

YEAH for meeting Rapunzel and Flynn! I am with you, he is one of my all-time favorite characters now. :lovestruc I cannot believe they took him away from regular every day meet and greets and only have him at the special events now. So glad my sister and I waited for the two of them last year.

OMG, Snow White said Dopey is my homeboy?! That is great. :lmao:

Cute pin...my mom bought me the same one when they were visiting my sister. :)

YAY! Isn't he awesome? I still can't believe that either! I've heard they're building a new meet and greet for them in Fantasyland so I hope it will happen! I'm glad yall got to meet them both too! Fairytale Garden is such a pretty place too, so it's even better!

She did!!! It was HILARIOUS. And totally unexpected! :lmao:

Oh really? That's awesome! PIN TWINS. Haah I love that one, your mom made a good choice. :thumbsup2

Yay for getting to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider!!! His smolder looks great!! :thumbsup2

Ugh, I'm sorry you got sick again! Hopefully you were feeling better soon!!

Haha I know! I love that he did the smolder. So perfect!

Thank you! I definitely felt a lot better the next day. :)

ME TOO. They're amazing. What, no crush??? Hahaha... how odd! ;) Oh I'm SURE he'll be back at the party! They definitely can't take him away forever!

Thank you! I loved it! One of my favorite birthday cakes ever!

I like Aurora too! The one we met was a little boring though. I completely agree! Merryweather (no clue how to spell that!) is my favorite too! Haha I actually think the dress looks better in blue as well, which is weird because I'm a pink girl all the way.

Thank you! Yeah, it really does stink. I hope it never has to happen to EITHER of us, ever again! And yes, thankfully I felt so much better the next day!

Thanks! I just started collecting pins and I'm just completely hooked now. It's ridiculous!

Thank you! Haha, you're right about that. I tried to make the most if it but it was definitely a little frustrating.

Thanks!!! Oh man, I love them. You MUST meet them! YES! You've done the dwarves so now you can definitely focus on Flynn! (Don't worry, I totally get it.)

It's adorable! I haven't started trading yet, but I really want to! Omg, that's SUCH a good idea! Because I want to do trading, but all the pins I bought are special to me. And you can't be like, um NO, you can't have THAT pin. :rotfl: So basically you're a genius and I'm gonna do the same exact thing!

Go to MousePinsOnline and get one of their grab bags to start your trading. They're totally legit and came highly recommended on the Theme Parks board and the collectors board. :thumbsup2

That cake is the best ever! I love it. And I love Rapunzel. She was a great addition and the movie is up there for me too.

I never got the chance to meet Flynn Ryder. So sad. :(

Oh, and there is nothing wrong with having a crush on a cartoon guy. My biggest one was John Smith. Hello! :lovestruc

OMG I agree about the new princesses getting love! It's awesome to see little girls reppin' Tiana and Rapunzel.

As you know, I am also obsessed with Tangled. Seriously though, I think it's one of their greatest movies in years. I never thought anything could compare with the movies from the early 90's but Tangled has given them all a run for their money. There are so many amazing things about that movie and I just love that Disney is still THAT magical that I could see a princess movie at age 21 and be completely 100% captivated by it. And also, I had a Tangled cake too! We are children, I love it! :dance3:

I thought Snow White's prince was supposed to be named Ferdinand? Haha, it's so funny how the princes have improved over the years. It's so weird that the princes used to hardly have personalities. Could you imagine Aladdin or Eugene being like that? NO WAY.

OMG HOW CUTE IS EUGENE. It would have been really hard for me to like, let go of him. Cause I'm sure I'd just be like hugging him the entire time and he would have to pry me off. If I ever get a pic with him I am literally going to blow it up and hang it on my wall. He is the perfect man. Disney has just ruined my love life b/c no one will ever be as perfect as him. Sigh!

Aww, I'm so sorry you were sick. Hopefully you were able to enjoy the rest of the party despite the illness and crowds!

I will totally check that out! Thank you!!!

Haha thanks, I was in love with that cake! I made a joke when I got it and I was like, "there's hair on my cake." HAR HAR HAR. I totally agree!

Aww... I bet you'll be able to someday! I doubt they've taken him away forever!

OMG YES. John Smith! I love him too! Oh yes.

im here a little late but glad i found this tread

You're never too late! I'm glad you found it too! Thank you! :goodvibes

It definitely is! I mean I saw Princess and the Frog and loved it as well, but I feel like Tangled is just on a whole different level. I'm so happy with it! I COMPLETELY AGREE! Even my parents love it! My dad says that he wishes he could meet Maximus at the parks! :rotfl: OH YOU DID? I remember you saying that you wanted one! Hahah I'm glad you got that one! We're awesome. :cool2:

OH! Yeah, I think that's true! Thank you! I totally agree. Snow White and Cinderella's princes were basically just there so the girls could fall in love. I think Phillip was the first one who was awesome because he actually fought for his girl! But seriously, if Eugene's purpose was simply to dance with Rapunzel and look pretty, it'd be quite upsetting.

He's WONDERFUL. Hahaha I want to see that happen! I really do think they'll bring him back someday, they'd be stupid not to! I'm sure you'll get to meet him, I hope so! You're right. Regular guys are just... regular. :sad2:

Thanks girl! I kinda did hahah.

I know what you mean about loving Tangled! I remember when I saw The Princess and the Frog I was really disappointed because I liked it but I didn't love it, and I thought that maybe I was growing out of Disney movies. Thankfully I realized I was TOTALLY wrong about that when I saw Tangled! Seriously though, me? Grow out of Disney movies? What was I thinking...

OMG meeting the princes. I've never done that, but I really want to. Although I did meet Prince Caspian once. He was super cute and he smelled AMAZING. I want to meet Eugene, Naveen, and Aladdin. Can you believe I've never met Aladdin?!

That picture of you with Eugene is precious. His smolder is perfect, and I love how you cropped Rapunzel out. :lmao:

Haha random baby shoe? Somewhere in MK a child was 1/2 shoeless. That is odd!

Oh no! I'm so sorry your bubble guts came back. I hope it didn't last!

I know what you mean about Princess and the Frog. I really really like it too, but Tangled is just on a different level! Hahah there's literally no way you could ever grow out of Disney movies. I know a lot of people go through a 'I'm too cool for Disney' phase but I never did! It's in our blood hahah.

This was my first time ever meeting 'talking' characters at all! Well, not this exact experience, but this trip. So don't feel too bad! You should totally meet Aladdin in July though! And if you do, I hope you get the same one we met. He was just fantastic! Hahah! Prince Caspian smelled amazing? Very interesting. He's a hottie. ;)

Thank you!!! I was so excited. Even though I look ill, I still love the picture. Hahah yeah, Rapunzel's out, I'm in. :rotfl:

I know! It was the weirdest thing. I wish I had actually taken the picture of it!

Thank you! :) Yeah, it kinda did last... but I will say that the next day I was much better!

Oh my gosh, you got to meet the princes! How exciting and well worth the wait! I've never had the pleasure of meeting Flynn, but he sure is easy on the eyes! ;) I think I'd make him my FB picture too (until DH found out! :rotfl:).

Welcome to the world of pins! I remember when I only had one pin, now I have over 500! Its a slippery slope, but a really fun hobby! :)

I'm so sorry you still were feeling sick, that is just the worst at Disney! I hope you were still able to enjoy the night. Someday I'm going to make it to a MVMCP, maybe in 2014?

It was definitely worth the wait! They were wonderful! Hahaha you're right, it's definitely not hard to look at him. :rotfl:

Why thank you! Oh my goodness, 500?!?! Wow! Haha right now I have three. But I actually have a list going of pins that I want... so I think you're right, slippery slope indeed!

Thank you! I was able to enjoy it... kinda. It could have been worse. You should definitely get yourself to MVMCP at some point! :thumbsup2

I am so sorry that you were feeling poorly that night:hug: I swear, we have all year to be sick EXCEPT for the way too short time we are in Disney. WHY!:sad2:

Kadence is enjoying the Princess M&Gs and of course Rapunzel and Flynn:love:

I hope you were able to stay and somewhat enjoy the party!

Thank you! OH I KNOW, RIGHT? Seriously, what is that? I'm just praying it doesn't happen again... for any of us!

Aww, yay! I loved meeting them! I wish I had all the pictures though! :(

Thanks! I did stay! After paying $60+ they would've had to drag me out of there! :rotfl:

How fun that y'all got to meet the princesses with their princes! Especially Flynn! :cool1:

But a big BOO for your sickness coming back! :( I sure hope it started to go away for good!

Very cute pin!

It was amazing! I had been wanting to meet Flynn and Rapunzel for like a year! When we went in December 2010 the line was SO long and it was only a 2 day trip (never again) so we only had so much MK time. So I'm really really really glad we could meet them together at the party!

Yeah. :( Thankfully, it was all gone by lunchtime the next day.

Thanks! I love that pin. Now I just need a lanyard to put it on!

The One With the Main Street Train Station

December 16, 2011

This is the update that I just have NOT been looking forward to writing! I don’t want to be a downer but I just wanted to warn you… the events of this update may make you somewhat sad, and I’m sorry! However, I promise that this will be the last “oh bummer” update, thank goodness!

I was so tired of feeling sick! I knew I needed to take it easy, and I knew I needed to stay close to a bathroom. Just the thought of not being able to enjoy the Christmas party made me extremely upset. I was trying to be positive, but it’s hard when you’ve got the Magic Kingdom at your fingertips and you literally can’t do anything. I didn’t even feel well enough to go get the most delicious cookies and hot chocolate ever. (If any of yall have ever been to the Christmas party, you know just how amazing those cookies and hot chocolate actually are. Seriously, one of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten.)

I went back up to where I was sitting earlier that evening at the Main Street Train Station. However, it had gotten so crowded up there that I couldn’t find a seat. I figured the crowds would probably clear out after the fireworks.

The train station provides a good view, but it’s obstructed by the gigantic Christmas tree! I stayed to the right and I could see pretty well, but not as well as I had hoped. I thought about trying to find a place on Main Street but decided against it because it was a mob scene.

First up on the entertainment front was the holiday edition of The Magic, The Memories, and You. Now, I’d seen little bits and pieces of this show on you tube, and I’d heard the song (because it’s on my iPod). I had been SO looking forward to seeing this in person because I had heard such great things about it. (And side note: Can I just say that the first time I heard what the show would be called, I immediately thought of the Rainbow Connection?? I had no idea what it was, so I actually thought they would do a play on that song… you know, instead of “the lovers, the dreamers, and me” it would be, “the magic, the memories, and you!” Hahaha, clearly I was way off, and I’m glad because while I love the Rainbow Connection, I don’t think it would have worked with this show!) Okay that was a long side note. Gosh. RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE.

Whatever. I was really excited about seeing this show because I just knew it would be beautiful and wonderful. Plus, hearing Walt Disney saying “to all who come to this happy place… WELCOME!” always makes me cry. Seriously.

So clearly I had not thought my location through. I could barely see the special effects from the train station! Darn. However, I could still tell that it was amazing, and the Walt part STILL made me cry (although it also could have been because I was just bummed about everything hahaah). Basically I’m making it an absolute necessity to see this show up close and personal this summer and I cannot wait!

VERY soon after the first show was over, it was time for Holiday Wishes to begin! It was just beautiful. I was glad that I’d seen it the previous year though, because otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get a good feel for it. The extra awesome part about Holiday Wishes is that they do 180-degree fireworks, so they’re coming from all over the place! It’s just amazing!

Here’s the part where I cheat a little bit. I tried to get photos of the show, but they weren’t coming out well. I decided to stop trying and just enjoy the show, but the good news is that… I had already taken pictures in 2010! HOORAY. So… I present to you: Holiday Wishes photos from 2010. (Is it cheating if it was literally the exact same show? No? Okay cool!)

SDC11249.jpg

It’s the spirit of the season, yall! Get down with your bad selves.

SDC11251.jpg

FAVORITE PART! “O Christmas Tree…”

SDC11256.jpg

I know what you’re thinking. Photographic GENIUS. Ehh, not really, but it’ll do!

As soon as Holiday Wishes was over, the crowds dispersed like I thought they would. I really wanted to go with them! I was missing my friends and I was so tired of being stupidly sick!

Before I could claim my spot for the parade, I had to take ANOTHER trip to the bathroom. When I came back, the ‘Celebrate the Season’ show began! I could barely see it, but again, I’d seen it the year before, so I didn’t feel totally ripped off. That show is completely adorable! There is a segment where Mickey is giving Minnie a live version of the Nutcracker for Christmas and it’s just precious!

While I was waiting for the parade, a LOT of interesting stuff happened. At least it seemed interesting to me, because I’d been looking at Town Square for an hour. It seemed so interesting, in fact, that I actually typed it into my phone so I could remember! (This was one of the two times I actually took notes on the trip.)

I titled these notes “Cool and weird things I saw when I felt like C-R-A-P.” :rotfl:

Cool thing number 1: There was a couple meeting Santa Claus (he was greeting guests in front of the Christmas tree in Town Square). After they took a picture with him, the guy proposed! Thankfully, the girl said yes! It was so cute! She was crying (tears of joy), and they got free bride and groom ear hats! It was such a cool thing to witness!

Cool thing number 2: A cast member was doing water drawings! He was drawing them directly below me. I tried so hard to get photos but my camera unfortunately decided not to cooperate. He drew Minnie, Goofy, and Donald! He did an awesome job too. WHAT TALENT. I wish I could do that. (Really though.)

Weird thing number 1: The people on either side of me were singing along to ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.’ They were both quite tone deaf. It was amusing but cute. At least they were enjoying themselves.

Weird thing number 2: There were these extremely odd women in Town Square going CRAZY after a CM gave them Mickey stickers. I mean, I understand getting excited about a sticker. It’s cute and it’s a nice gesture. Plus it’s MICKEY. But these ladies were SCREAMING. “AHHHHH OH MY GOSH I GOT A STICKER!!!!!”

A random person walked by them.

“I GOT A STICKER!!!!!!!”

An innocent family strolled past.

“LOOK!!!!!!! STICKER!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Two teenage girls wandered by.

“WE GOT STICKERS!!!!!!!”

Like okay yall. Enough is enough. I’m happy yall got stickers, but are they made of precious gems? Most likely not. Tone it down a notch, will ya?

Thankfully for my ears and sanity, IT WAS PARADE TIME!

SDC12391.jpg

I probably really wanted something from that cart.

CHEATING MOMENT (AGAIN): Once again, I am showing you pictures from 2010. I’m sorry! I actually did take photos and videos during the parade, but it was difficult to get good ones because although I could see through the bars, my camera couldn’t! The good news is that once again, nothing really changed about the parade between 2010 and 2011.

SDC11341.jpg

“It has… BEGUN!” Oh sorry. This is Once Upon A Christmas Time, not Once Upon A Time.

SDC11342.jpg

SDC11273.jpg

The backsides of Minnie and Mickey. OH, okay I lied. There was a slight difference on this float: DUFFY! Just picture him sitting on the float like the adorable teddy bear he is. (And while you’re at it, picture him wearing a Santa coat and hat. Thanks.)

Everyone’s favorite couple of ducks!

Scrooge McDuck!!! If only we could see his face!

LOOK, IT’S LIKE MY PIN!

SDC11344.jpg

Princey waved right at me. Hello.

SDC11292.jpg

Okay, so I know that most of these photos are horrible. This parade is so much better suited for the daylight! Anyways, when the prince and princess float passed by, they all waved up to me. It made me happy!

SDC11299.jpg

The gingerbread men! They’re awesome! Plus, Samantha Brown taught me to always notice that they are flat in the back-because they just came off a cookie sheet! HOW PRECIOUS AND DETAIL-Y.

SDC11296.jpg

Goofy comes representing his Candy Company. “I want candy. Yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy!”

Bring on the toys!

My absolute favorite part: the toy soldiers! They are honestly the coolest things ever. They march so perfectly in synch with each other and their boots make this awesome ‘wooden shoe’ sound. Plus, some of them are actually playing instruments! It’s just genius, I tell you.

A reindeer! Let’s say this one is Blitzen. Why not, right? Reindeer can only mean one thing…

“Must be Santa Claus!”

I didn't realize how awful those photos were until I saw them on the update! Bad! Hahaha.

I really, really, REALLY love that parade. I was happy that I got to see it again. While it didn’t cure my sickness, it definitely made me a little bit happier for the time being.

After the parade, I decided I better just leave. It was about 11:30. I absolutely did not want to leave, but I wasn’t feeling any better. What could I do? I waited a few minutes so that I could exit without being surrounded by a complete mob, and then I made my way down the stairs into Town Square. I had to make ANOTHER stop in the bathroom before I headed out of the park. (I honestly can’t even keep track of how many times I got sick that day/night. All I know is that it was more times than I’d ever been sick at once in my life!)

There were cast members handing out Ghiradelli peppermint bark to guests as they left, which I thought was such a nice touch! I saved mine for the next day though.

Basically, that party was a bust for me.

At that point I was just done. I wanted to get straight onto a bus and back to Sports as quickly as possible. No such luck! The line for Sports was huge! I had to wait for two busses to come and fill up before I could get on one. I remember looking at the people that were walking back to the Contemporary and being SO envious of them! At that point I had absolutely no idea that I’d be staying at BLT and would be able to do that myself! AHHH. Anyways, I finally got on a bus, but I had to stand. It didn’t help me feel any better, that’s for sure.

The bus ride did me in. I was just so angry at myself for being sick, which I know is ridiculous, but it’s just how I felt at the time. I guess I was just at my breaking point. It had been a very disappointing Disney day and I had never anticipated that happening! I just felt like I was letting myself down, and I felt like my friends probably thought I was trying to avoid them or something, and it all made me extremely upset. It’s just that I had waited a year for this trip and I had been SO excited, and then I just HAD to go and get sick. AT DISNEY! At that point I honestly felt like the trip was ruined. So after the bus came to a stop, I walked into the building, went right into the bathroom, and just started CRYING.

I stayed in there for a while. It’s a good thing I did though, because I got sick again. SERIOUSLY? (This is getting ridiculous, am I right?) It was definitely a combination of too much food and some type of random bug. There was no other explanation! At some point I went back to the room and got ready for bed. Everyone else came back soon after that. I was still feeling bad, so I was awake for a LONG time. I tried to sleep, but it wasn’t happening. I got sick one more time before I fell finally asleep.

The good news is, not being able to sleep left me a lot of time to think. I decided that there was no way I was going to let one day of being sick ruin my trip. The first two days had been wonderful, and the next day would be wonderful too. I was going to feel better by any means necessary! I still had one full day left to turn the trip back around.

AND I TOTALLY DID.

Aw, I'm sorry you weren't feeling well! If we would've known you were alone, you totally could have hung out with us! I see why we never met up; we were hiding in the back of the park most of the time. Because great googly moogly were there a lot of people on Main Street!

Totally agree that Rapunzel/Flynn is the best part of the princess meet'n'greet. Not that Snow White and Aurora are bad princesses - I like Sleeping Beauty as a movie better than Tangled - but... they're BORING to meet. I mean, Phillip talked about the color pink with me! I thought he was supposed to be all snarky and dashing and really cool! For some reason, they just don't translate well into meet'n'greets.

I do like Princess and the Frog better than Tangled, I think. I never figured out how a chameleon got to France, let alone survived for so long in the French climate. Tangled also ended up being a little more... cartoonish/uncanny valley than is my preference; I liked the Claire Keane and Lisa Keene style better. So much watercolor-y goodness!

ah, being sick is so sad in general and even more so at Disney! I am hoping that the next day was so much better for you!:littleangel:
