Day 3 Part 2--EPCOT!




Anyway, we went into MouseGear (where many people were hiding). Aly and I bought Mr. Potato Heads (well, I bought new pieces; I've been collecting for years!). Dad bought me a plush doll (thanks, Dad! I love him!)

Uh-Oh! As soon as I saw that first picture, I thought, "Looks like they're going to get rained on... I hope they remembered their ponchos!"

TSM looks so cool... I may be the only DISer who hasn't been on it yet!
Personally, I like early lunches... so much less crowded and you get seated right away!

First of all, we've been going to WDW every year for over 10 years now and we have NEVER seen the welcome show at MK. I'm so ashamed.


And Lauren loves the Kingdom Keepers book.

It's probably the best welcome/rope drop of the four WDW parks.

Try to see it next time! It's well worth it.

And Lauren just keeps getting cooler and cooler

Day 6 Part 2--PTC, GMR, ToT, RnRC, and...




We headed back towards the 50's PTC for our (early) lunch. Seated in about 5 minutes.

And in that 5 minutes, it began to pour buckets outside!

Our server was an "Auntie" (though I've long-forgotten her name). She was okay, but wasn't nearly as into character as the other servers around us. She wasn't even in character at all! Just a normal waitress!

The food was pretty good, actually. I had the fish sandwhich, and it was nummy.

Of course, for dessert...s'mores!

Oh My Jacob (Black). These were heaven on a plate.

If you have not seen these before, I shall launch into a description.

And then haul you to that restaurant to get these s'mores.

Ghram (or however that is spelled...) crackers. Roasted marshmallows sit on top of them. Roasted to per-fec-tee-yon. Golden brown on the tops and sides, ooey-gooey in the middles. Drizzled on top is melted chocolate, all warm and good.

Dig in and enjoy.



We left PTC and ventured off to Great Movie Ride.

Would you believe this was the longest wait of the day?

WELL, IT WAS!

We entered the queue, not so bad. Kept walking through. And then, of COURSE, as soon as we entered the screen room (with the film clips), there's a long wait.

Of about 30 minutes.

Those clips became ingrained in my skull.



Anyway, we took our journey into the movies without fail (gangster scenario).

Our RnRC FastPasses were about to expire, so we headed off back to Sunset Boulevard. Only Mom, Aly, and I ended up going on. We gave Dad's pass to a lucky person.

Surprisingly, considering how LONG the line looked, we were on in about 10-15minutes.

Not my favorite coaster in WDW, but still pretty cool. We cruised along to Sweet Emotion (yes, I remember the song we rode to, but I don't remember what food we ate!) and then hopped on over to ToT for yet another short wait (15 minutes).

Then Mom asked THE Question.

"Do you want to go see Beauty and the Beast?"

Oh. My. Gosh. Mom.





OF COURSE I DO!

If you remember from some of my previous posts (and my sig), I LOVE musicals. Musical shows, musical theater, anything with singing and dancing, and I am there.

So of COURSE I want to see B&TB: Live on Stage!!

Ooh, we should've asked for a better waitress! Not only was she not in character, but she was s-l-o-o-o-o-o-w.

And I've had the fortune of seeing B&TB thrice onstage. Once, the national tour. Second, a community theater. Thrice, another tour, but not the Disney-sanctioned tour (as in, a theater company not produced/owned by Disney touring the USA).

Yay for the update! Boo for bad "waitress-ing"! I'm eating there on our October trip for the first time, I'll make sure to ask for an in-character waitress. I feel like your favorite attraction might be something like the Backlot Tour because it is movie-y and behind the scenes but it could very well be Indiana Jones for all I know because let me tell you, a man who can fight falling boulders and attacking enemies while still having time to woo every maiden out there sure has my vote for hottie... I mean favorite.

Would you believe me if I told you that I watched Twilight for the first time last night. Since the "craze" began, I was sooooo anti-Twilight; the books, the movies, Robert Pattinson, everything. And then my best friends all became Twilight junkies and talked about it nonstop driving me to hate it even more. So anyway, last night my friend slept over and we were going thru On Demand to watch something and we go past Twilight and she's like "oh, lets watch it, you'll love it." So I agreed and I ended up LOVING the movie. So much so, that I'm watching it legit right now as I'm typing you this (we're at the part where Bella is talking to her mom on the phone and Edward comes through her window). So, I guess I've become a Twilight fan. Haha

Long story, I know. Anywayyyyy waiting for next update. Tonight sounds good.
