You don't need to bring a night light . . . .

or an extra clock. There is a channel on the room TV that has the time, temp, location, etc. and we just turn the sound down. And, I believe it can be dimmed if it's too bright for you. You can also leave the bathroom door open a crack with the light on, if you need it during the night.
Less items to pack - that's a good thing for us!

We just got back and left the bathroom door open. Also, just used the clock they had on the night table. Worked fine!

We like it dark in the cabin at night so we bring a plugin night light w motion sensor. If one of us gets up it turns on.

You certainly do not need a night light....you could land airplanes to the light from the clock!!

:rotfl2: I agree! That clock was horrible! We turned it to face the wall, so we still had no idea what time it was at night!

Also, we left the bathroom light on at night for our 5 year old and I found it way too bright. You had to basically close the door for it to not illuminate the whole room. Next time, I plan on bringing a small nightlight for the bathroom so we can leave the door open and not blind us. I like it dark, though. The bathroom light might work great for some.

On the Fantasy/Dream, there is a built in night light you can turn on from the desk. It's ok at night.

I LOVED the built in night light. It was perfect (and the clock radio light was horrid. I ended up unplugging it and using my wave phone for time)

I'm confused. Why does everyone say to bring a digital clock for then? There is one in the room on the dream? If I wake up at night I always like to know what time it is.

Because there didn't use to be digital clocks in the rooms.

Before there was just regular clocks shaped like propellers that didn't really glow in the dark and had alarms that many people found inadequate.

For staterooms with a veranda/balcony, web would just leave the balcony light on and keep the curtains cracked open a little. Plenty of light. The bathroom door will sometimes swing open or closed, depending on how much the ship is rocking and rollin'! :rotfl2:
