You Are Here mugs

These are cute, but I prefer drinking out of larger mugs, they look so tiny. Does anyone know how many ounces they hold?

Although maybe it's just the pictures? I'm seeing 16 ounces? That would be fine. (I brew in my Keurig at the 10 ounce size and add about three tablespoons of creamer :P)

We got them in May. They were all in stock. You have to go to each SB to get them. They are awesome mugs. We can't wait to get the AK one as the SB wasn't open.

So happy to know I will be able to buy the mugs in September. I'm thinking I may get two of each, then keep one set in the boxes for later use. My husband will think I'm crazy, but I want to have these for a long time. Years ago I purchased 6 place settings that are now starting to chip and crack, and I can't find replacements anywhere. Don't want this to happen with the mugs. I'm not a big shopper, so I may splurge. Lucky I don't do a lot of traveling besides Disney, otherwise this could get expensive purchasing mugs from every city!

LOL

The ten I bought on the west coast came back in checked luggage as well (however it was spread out over 2 suitcases). In fact I think all but 1 or 2 of my collection have all traveled home in luggage. The boxes are pretty sturdy and we just made sure they were in between layers of clothes.

Wow that's a lot to pack to fly back! haha I was nervous with just my 3 because going down to Florida my bag was already at 40 pounds and I had so much other crap I bought shoved in there as well so I wasn't real sure where my weight would end up. Thankfully it was only 46 and my dad took me with him up to his priority check-in which gets a higher weight limit so they let me slide :)

I kind of wanted to buy a duplicate of at least one to use... I sort of just want my current ones for display/collecting.
Maybe if I'm somewhere fun I'll get a city one to use. The disney ones will stay in the box :)

When we went we could have packed in two carry on size suitcases, but it's Disney LOL. We both took our larger bags (I think they are 25'') so we had some wiggle room for souvenirs spacewise. The picture I posted was everything we brought back except for 2 tshirts and a mini TsumTsum, so we weren't really worried about weight as it was a short trip and we both were light on the way out.

However I now remember that two of those mugs we found in the SNA airport on the way home so those must have gone in one of our carry on bags. So only eight were in the luggage.

That was my plan.. take my giant suitcase and have lots of room. However.... somehow I ended up filling the entire thing for the way down. How a bunch of tank tops and shorts can weigh that much I have no idea lol We went for a week though and i'm a total over packer.

I just measured one of mine and it holds 16 oz. They are big mugs!

I have 5 total: Kentucky, New York, Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles. It has become my go to souvenir. I just discovered these in March so now I need to collect them from all the places I've been but not gotten one! I don't want to get on ebay though, I'd prefer to get in person.
