When I said I was expecting a boy you said "be prepared for ER visits". So we had our 1st tonight.
DS and DH were running around the basement when DS tripped and hit his eye on a tote. It started bleeding and he wouldn't let us look or touch it. So we took him in. The Dr said he would be OK, he has just hit the outer bone of the eye socket, not the eyeball itself. He was wanting to play when we got to the hospital, his eyes are tracking well and the bleeding stopped. Now he is sleeping, he is so very sleepy! He was such a trooper, when we were trying to clean out the cut he kept saying "Grandma's house tomorrow, grandma's house tomorrow!"
Now if I can calm down to go to bed! I'll be up checking on him every hour, probably!

), the "does my foot keep the door open if i slide it under the weatherstripping" trip (stiches), and night before last (he's now 8 1/2) the "mom i snuck potato chips into my room and accidentaly ate a metal marble" trip (todays updated x-rays showed we are now about 48 hours from "elimination").
