And be sure you're using the correct address for the 2008 contest. The box number was changed to PO Box 8650 for this year's entries.

Last year we won 8 ears and 6 lanyards. I gave away some to my niece and my dd's friends, then I stopped sending in the postcards because I thought ears and lanyards were the only prizes for the postcards, big dummy me Anyway I've started to send them in again for this year. Nah, you're not a dummy...what matters is that you didn't find out too late that you could win more than ears and lanyards! I hope we are as lucky as you were...we have a trip planned for 05/31/08 so I'm hoping we get lanyards or ears (or both! ) to take with us! Keep us posted!

This is what I don't understand. The guy that won the DVC, said he printed out labels for his post cards. This is why I was a little leary that he actually won. I'm waiting to see the prize sheet, it still isn't listed.

Does anyone know if you can use actual postcards...I have sent entries in on pieces of paper but not postcards...I just found some cute disney ones that I want to use but they are regular postcard size...

I think you can. Just have it the correct size and put it in a envelope. You will pay regular postage though. This is also how the person won. He said he printed up his information on the correct size paper and mailed his entries in an envelope.

I printed out address labels for the front of my post cards and hand wrote my information on the other side. So far I've won 4 prizes.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I haven't won anything yet, but I haven't even been sending postcards for 2 weeks yet. I think it is okay as long as you are handwriting your own information.

I've sent one a day for almost a year! The first prize (lanyard) was in July 07 then 3 on one day (ears, ears, lanyard) in January 08.

We are sending in 3 a day (one for myself, one for DH, and one for DD). But of course I'm writing them all out! So triple the chances of winning!!

Yeah--I noticed that too. We've pre-printed the address labels, but are hand printing our info (name, address, birthdate). I also wondered how someone seemingly could not follow the rules and still win a big prize, since the in-park "Dream Squads" seem to be very much by the book for things even like Dream Fastpasses.

Makes more sense to me now since I couldn't imagine Disney breaking its own rules for a big prize.

But if you're entering now I would hand-write all of your personal info . . . .

I'm glad I read this!!! I totally missed the hand-written part! I had made labels to stick on to my post-cards with our info...
