Seeing as how you have had Yavn's ear lately (lol) can you run something by him when you see him?

Was talking to my brother yesterday, and he took his kids to the local mall and the disney store.

The woman told him, and i'm quoting here..."The new Herbie Fully loaded DVD will be out on October 25, and they are telling us that it should include a code for one herbie helmet in the virtual magic kingdom online game."


OK, now BEFORE everyone starts GOING CRAZY. Lets look at this. It was a part timer, at a disney store, in a mall.

Also, has disney ever put vmk codes in anything yet to cross-market it?

So, if you could ask Yavn and maybe he can either give you a wink-wink nod-nod, or even a definative NO, that would be cool.

I'm not one to usualy post "he heard this" or "she said that" kind of stuff, but since it came from my bro, and from the disney store, i figure it is worth checking out at least.

yes that is how the code will be coming out. and they have done it with the Pirate, Buried Tresure and Cursed Storm with Kelloggs cereal

Yeah, i thought it was interesting when my brother said he went on to talk to the lady about vmk a little bit and she was totally clueless about vmk. I found it strange that she really didnt know about vmk, yet had heard about the code in the movie. Not that that in itself lent any validity to it, but it seemed a little curious that she had to have heard it from somewhere. Which made me think it may, in fact, be true.

the Disney Stores will not know anything about VMK unless they play the game since the Stores are not owned by Disney anymore.

not that i am anyone important but i have also heard this rumor.

the point that was made was, vmk is free, but these things still cost lots of money to up keep none the less. so if they can make an extra huge amount of selling more herbies so be it.

i gotta say, it's got me consdiering it....

OH! pixie bella, i just have a little question for yavn. if he is willing to say:

is there going to be another space suit, and will it come out with tommaroowland, or is the one out there the only one ever?

i want one, but if they will sell another later in a diffrent color, i can wait lol!

well hopefully they have leaned from the pirate codes, and these will be single use codes. Otherwise, there will be a lot more helmets around, than dvd's sold.

seriosuly! i don;t want to be a one time use... but i do think you are right. the other question is, if that is the case, will it be IN the dvd case, or will it be "ifyou buy it at the disney store" like how it is in the parks with the mickey hats and stuff....

i think it will be inside. The woman told my brother the dvd "would include" the code, and didnt say "when you buy it we will give you a code, or a card, etc". So i am just guessing here, but i think it would be inside. But if it is indeed a multi-use code, sales will be seriously lower than they would have been with single-use codes.

I saw Yavn tonight.

I asked him, "Yavn is the herbie hat coming in the movie?"

He answered, "Pixie! Maybe!"
