Today's useless fact:

My house was hit by lightning last night! We are really lucky though...the house is still standing! We're still waiting on the structural people to get here. We have some shredded wood in the attic and a hole on the corner of the house under the roof line where it exited and travel down the gutter down spout. It blew the phone box cover off and into the yard about 25 feet away! We have a ton of fried electronics....the surge protectors strips did nothing for 'em. Tv's, modem and router, my work voip phone, sterio receivers etc ..all toast. Strange as it sounds...the power stayed on...but the cable and phone are out?? Oh well, the kids are ok and the house is standing...so we are LUCKY!

We will be at the F&W Festival this year and the "eat to the beat" band is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Who the heck is that? Are they any good?

I love BBVD! I can't keep my feet still when I listen to them. Some of my favorite songs are ""You Know You Wrong", and You and Me and the Bottle Make Three".
