There are no true Floridians left other than my family and maybe a few more so they stock the winter crap for the northern transplants who get cold when the temperature drops to 72 degrees. If it's not below 50 degrees then it is shorts and short sleeve wearing weather for us true Floridians.

Move to Buffalo if you want cold and snow - it's in the low 40s at night right now. We won't stop wearing shorts until it gets below freezing!

Wow..as frustrating as it is to not be able to get shorts or summer clothes past the end of July here, I'd imagine it would be horrible to be in southern states, and find it the same way.
I just think it's ridiculous the way the push the seasons.

Wall-Mart came up with a new season down here this year football. The whole garden center is full of football stuff big screentv's, beer, chips, folding chairs, first up shelters. Its like a tail gate party with out the party.

Same here! I walked in the other day and I thought I had walked into the University of Maryland because they had all of their football stuff right by the garden center door (that's where I enter cuz no one parks down there. ) Chairs, first up shelters, tv's but no beer. They can only sell beer in a liquor store here.

So, I suppose sitting in the chairs, and eating the chips and drinking the beer while watching a football game is out of the question, huh? If they're going to put out the invite surely we can accept it.

I guess it's official..It's Christmas. Was in Kohl's today..same thing..Christmas decorations. Funny thing is I'm looking for left over summer stuff for our trip! LOL! I knew I was kidding myself with that.

Also..just an interesting observation. It would appear that some middle eastern men think it's okay to walk into ladies dressing rooms. While he was demanding that his wife show him what she had tried on...I saw no reason for this guy to keep coming in to the dressing room repeatidly. I have no idea what they were saying to one another, although it was loud and heated. When I exited the dressing room I had every intention of telling the sales woman that there was a man in there..only, she was of middle eastern decent also. I left the store. I think I'm gonna shop on line from now on. Maybe this is a cultural thing..., but I'm pretty sure he could read, he just didn't care.
