WHOOHOO...MY TA JUST CALLED TO SAY DISNEY UPGRADED US FROM CAT 11 (INSIDE RM) TO CAT 8 ROOM (OUTSIDE RM) . DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS LOCATION? IT'S ON THE WONDER ROOM 5512.

Hey! It looks like we've got the same thing going on! We're leaving on the March 4th Wonder - we were a Cat. 11 and now we're a Cat. 8.

We'll see you there!!! (I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Congratulations on your upgrade!! Is'nt it wonderful to have the pixie dust flying in your direction even before you set foot on the ship!! I am hoping the same will happen to us when we go in March 2005!! Hoping for a verandah room!! One can always wish and hope! Have a wonderful and magical trip!

Congrats we are going on the 3-11-04 wonder and are currently still waiting for our docs.... we booked a cat 11 garentee.. hoping the reason we have not got our docs is because we will get an upgrade... any thoughts on this?

Pixie Mom...we are also going on the 3/11 wonder and I received my docs about 3 weeks ago. I made my ressies thru TA so I don't know if that made a difference or not. Can you call DCL to see if they have been sent out..or TA if you used one? I'll cross my fingers for you that they arrive this week!!

I was in 5016 -- starboard as opposed to your port side 5512. The rooms should be pretty similar. I have pictures of our stateroom:

we are not doing the "official" land and sea, but we will be leaving for Fl in 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

MontiD you should check out the other forum (meets) and go to the march 11 post...... Thought no one else but me and 2 others were on 3/11 from this web board.

I dont know if there is a secret to the upgrades. I figured it was because it was our first cruise with disney and they wanted to spoil us so we would come back But who knows? I'm just tickled pink I don't have have to look at the wall!!
