Yipee, We are going home!!

I just made our first ressies using our developer points. It was so easy... I guess I was still not convinced that it would be unlike other timeshares. I am so happy we decided to buy DVC and I can't wait to go HOME!!!!!

Yippee!!! Your comment about other timeshares kind of made me laugh because it reminded me so much of us. My DMIL has a timeshare someplace other than DVC. We have visited there with them and were so unimpressed that we decided that we were not "timeshare people." DVC was a wonderful surprise. Anyways, enjoy your new home!

Ditto to both of your comments. One of my friends has something in NH and has had the most difficult times booking vacations. She is a Disney nut like me and regrets the purchase.

Thank you!! I have been so excited about our purchase and I counted the days until time to make our reservations, however in the back of my mind I heard my father... "You better not get involved with that... you'll regret it!" Well, not so far especially since it truly was a breeze to make reservations yesterday! We have friends and family who have owned other timeshares and it takes an act of congress to get to stay where they would like. We bought sight unseen and I can't wait to see the actual villas. We have stayed at value and moderate at Disney and were pleased with both but knew that we would need more space as our 3 kids grew. Now we have our own "home" at Disney

I have to admit even with the Sliding economy The DVC was one of our Best buys.

I know I will have at least one great trip a Year . I just booked 3 nights at VWL followed by 7 nights at BCV for our Summer trip. How can you beat that for what we pay overall.
