I just got off the phone with Jaki from A Timeshare with the news I've been waiting for. She said it will be 7-10 days before we get the paperwork, send in the final check, ect....... I told her we would be out of town at the 9 day mark and she said she would inform Disney of our situation so that we can possibly get this taken care of before we leave on July 22!
On Friday, June 25 we signed a contract for 180 points at VWL, Oct. use year. We have a reservation already set for WL standard view room for our Nov. trip because I'm not sure we will get a studio for all 5 nights at the villas in such short notice. I will definately try but it's either a studio at VWL (we don't want to stay anywhere else) or the standard room I already have booked. The dates of our Nov. trip are arriving the Friday before Thanksgiving and leaving the day before Thanksgiving. I'm hoping that since we are not staying through Thanskgiving, we will have a small chance of getting all our nights in a studio........we'll just have to wait and see. I don't think DH wants to split the stay even from one room to another at the same hotel. So with a little pixie dust, just maybe we'll get what we are looking for. I read that a lot of people cancel reservations at the 30 or 31 day mark and that will be fine for us! Please send some pixie dust this way! I really don't want to have to wait till June to stay "HOME".

BTW..the contract you have, we bid on earlier but hesitated when the counter offer finally came back. If we pass ROFR we'll be at VWL with you, so hopefully it'll all work out in the end
