I tried, sorry. I tried to read through the WL FAQ thread, but it is way too big. So if you can be so kind to answer another question about the rooms, I would really appriciate it.

I am about to make ressies for April. My daughter wants bunk beds. We also want to get a courtyard view, I heard the best views are the bear face or something. Anyway, what would have the best view of the MK? Or the best view of the lake with the courtyard, can you have both views? MK and the courtyard w/lake? With the bunk beds. And the quietest. Am I asking for too much here?:p

Thanks for your help. Oh BTW, after I find the best room for us, how do I request the room? Thanks again

Courtyard view does not have a MK view, but you can have a courtyard view and see the electric pageant if you have a 4th floor villa side room. We have never stayed on the villa side...we usually request North side due to its great proximity to Roaring Forks etc. Our last trip, we had room 6149... complete with bunks!

Cindy is right, you can't have a courtyard view and a MK view too. It's one or the other. We had a courtyard view in Feb and loved it (upgraded from a standard view). As far as your request goes, when you make your ressies request a courtyard or MK view, request the bunk beds and if you prefer near elevators, quiet hallways or the like. About 5 days prior to your departure, fax in your room requests to the WL. They have their own fax number and will try to accomodate all of your requests. Hope this helps!!

Make sure you ask for an *inside* courtyard view, or you may get stuck with a view of the quiet pool/villa's, like we did. (We loved the room and view, it just wasn't what we paid for. I PAID for a courtyard view & didn't get it.)

Enjoy your trip! We just had our first stay at the Lodge & loved it. It's a very relaxing hotels. We spend ton's of time at the pool areas.

You can watch the fireworks by going to the 5th floor where the two North wings interesct and look out the large hall windows. Pull the shutters open. As soon as the FW are over take the elevater, right there, and go down to the dock for the electric parade.

Kimberle:
Did DD get better?

Floridacat - Yes, she bounced back pretty quickly! Thanks for asking! She made her gymnastics class on Sat and is having her first ballet class today.

She looks so cute in her pink costume! Except for her hair, she decided she wanted short hair so took a sizzors to it Sun night! Her 3/4th waist lenght golden locks are now about chin lenght. Oh my, hope it grows back fast!

Here is a link to some info on faxing room preferences:
Link to Deb's Site

The Fax # for WL is 407-824-3232. The phone # (in case you don't have access to a fax ;) ) is 407-938-4300.

Make a list of all your "Hearts Desires" before you call to make your reservation. This will carry the most weight on getting your requests.

Then

Fax 4 days from your check in date, after 4:00 PM. Mark it to the attention of the ROOM ASSIGNER,
List your confirmation number, arrival & departure date, bed request, and any specific room number or view. Be sure to take Kimberle advice and add “inside Courtyard view” if that is your ressie. I know from CM’s, “KEEP IT SIMPLE” and list the most important request first.

Then

At check in confirm what you are getting and request a change on anything you are not comfotable with. I know from experience they will change your room if there is anyway it can be done.
