Yet Another Trip - Just Can't Get Enough! Complete: Wolfgang Puck Express!

I love WPE but, like you, I almost never go to DTD.

That Salmon looks really good...that crust..wow. I will add that to my 'must-try' list!

Thanks for the reviews and good food porn!:thumbsup2

I looooove WPE. They have a BBQ chicken salad that makes my mouth water!

Thanks for all of the reviews! I can't wait for your next one! When is that btw? :lmao:
We're hoping to go back at the end of August. It's pretty soon, but our plans might change, so I'll just be hopeful for now. :goodvibes

LOVE WPE! When we went we had the meatball and peppers pizza, the 1/2 chicken and mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. It was all awesome.
The only problem is it is very expensive if not on the dining plan. On the dining plan its the best use of a counter service credit out there, not on the dining plan and it's going to cost you.
I really want to try some of the other options at WPE! Next time I'd like to eat a few meals at Downtown Disney, also at Raglan Road (which I haven't tried). But WPE was great for quick service.

Great reviews and pics...soooo....when ya going back?
Thanks for reading! Hopefully at the end of August, we couldn't wait much longer. :rotfl:

Another place we've never been -- Wolfgang Express. We went to the Wolfgang's on the West End or wherever it is when it first opened (actually, it may have been one of the first days and my boss had connections at Disney way back then, and they got us in). I'll have to add Express to a future list (no room this trip).

Thanks for the great reviews and awesome pics.
Glad you enjoyed the reviews. And agreed on how long it took to finally try WPE - there are just too many places at Disney to eat, and I'm sure you have some great ones on your list for your next trip anyway!

Love Wolfgang Puck Express!! Thanks for sharing your reviews.:thumbsup2
Thanks for reading. And I have to go back to WPE sometime...the bacon-wrapped meatloaf sounds delicious.

Glad you enjoyed the reviews! After liking WPE I'm tempted to eat a few more meals in DTD. It's kind of a pain to get to (and I'm not too interested in the shopping), but it might be worth it for a change. :goodvibes

Wonderful reviews, thanks for posting
Your salmon dish at WPE looks fantastic :)
Thanks for reading! I'm looking forward to seeing your new reviews in the fall. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the FAB, FAB reviews! You are a super reviewer. There are folks that have a hard time with a 3- course dinner, but you had a 3-course dinner, plus an extra appetizer and an extra dessert at Yachtsman? :worship: Oh, the sacrifices made for the sake of reviews :lmao: :thumbsup2

We ate at Jiko and Citricos for the first time last month. Loved Jiko, but I was underwhlemed with Citricos. The crab pave was underseasoned (too subtle) and I had made up my mind months before that I would order the veal chop. When it arrived, I realized I had made the wrong choice - it was huge and heavy and not suitable for a summer entree (my fault, should have known better). I was disappointed that Citricos only had one fish dish on the menu that night. If I go back, I'm definitely ordering fish - that salmon and langoustine looks amazing!

We're staying at Yacht Club, but because we're only staying 4 nights (originally we were staying 5 nights in September, but swapped for 4 during F&W), we are not having dinner at Yachtsman (but we are having dinner at Flying Fish). Decisions, decisions. Or we could skip dinner at Epcot (blasphemy for many!), go to YS and then head back for Illuminations. Decisions, decisions.

When are you returning to WDW? - Never mind, I see you are returning in August. Great! Do you have ADRs? Where are you eating? I want to know what you'll be reviewing.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the reviews! Ordering the extra dessert was quite worth it at Yachtsman - the lemon cake and the nutella trio were just so awesome. :cloud9:

Sorry to hear you didn't love Citricos. Most of my meals there have been great, but in January we weren't too pleased, so I definitely think they're capable of having an off night or serving some inferior dishes. Hopefully you'll be able to try it again sometime (since I think all of the signatures have their ups and downs).

Based on the quality of our last meal, I would probably skip dinner at Epcot to have dinner at Yachtsman. But the menu will be slightly different in the fall (meaning perhaps less exciting desserts and slightly different apps). I wish the online menus were updated more often - for us, a general idea of menu offerings isn't enough, because it just takes one dish to determine if we really want to try a restaurant.

We're not completely sure where we'll be going in August. But as of now the plans include California Grill, Citricos, Artist Point, Yachtsman, Jiko, Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, Brown Derby, and possibly Il Mulino/Bluezoo. If our plans don't change, it's going to be an exciting dining review! :thumbsup2
