Yet another ticket question.....

I booked an AOA cars suite for Thanksgiving week during the free dining promotion. At the time I wasn't sure who all was going and how many park days everyone wanted so I made the reservation for the entire family with 2 day park hoppers. My younger 2 sons and I have AP's that expire 2 days into the trip. I would like to upgrade the 2 day park hoppers for us so we can keep our AP's but my older son, husband, and daughter in law only want to go the 2 days that have already been purchased. So my questions are:

1.Does everyone have to have the same tickets when booking free dining?
2. Are we able to use the purchase price of the 2 day PH ticket and renew our current AP at the discounted rate?

I can answer the first one. Yes, free dining or any dining requires everyone to have the same tickets WHEN YOU BOOK IT. Once you're checked in, you can modify the tickets however you want.

The answer to 2nd question is also a "Yes" you can use the cost of your still valid 2days PH to upgrade to AP...
