Yet ANOTHER DVC-AP-Discount Question - Limited time offer????

Is the AP discount for DVC members going to be a limited time offer?? are there only "So-Many" AP's available??

Do I have to get mine Jan 2nd, and tie up all that cash or can I wait till August to buy them??

Will this be an ongoing perk? for ever?????

Anyone get any info about this subject from Member Services???

Is it worth an extra $50 for an AP rather than a "Magic your way" Ticket for 7 days? with a SLIGHT chance of a return trip within a year?

While the perk, as all perks, can be withdrawn without notice at anytime, I doubt seriously the AP discount would go away without being good for a full year. It is not a "limited availability" perk, except that each member is limited to a maximum of 8 APs for their immediate household.

As to whether is a better buy for you over a MYW pass, only you can answer that. However, if you stagger even an annual visit so that (for example) your first AP visit is the 1st week of June 2005, and your next visit is the last week of May 2006, you will have gotten 2 visits out of that AP.

I would add that - in my opinion - this is a good perk for DVC members and DVC would likely keep it as long as it's not abused (i.e. trying to skirt around the residency requirements).

The way it is shown on the DVC Member Page, I think it's safe to assume it will be available throughout 2005:
