Yet another crowd question...for the future - 2008

Okay, I am a nutcase  , but I am already mapping out Disney vacations into the next few years. We usually go in Nov for few days and this works out great, it's during Jersey week so the crowds are decent - 7s or so.

Well, I am looking at the April calendar and it looks like the week before and after Easter are absolutely packed this year. My first question is: Is this due to Easter, regular April vacations for schools (we are in Massachusetts and the week after is our school break), spring break from colleges, a good weather time to go, or a combination of all of the above? I am thinking combination.

Now, to my real question: in 2008, Easter is at the end of March(3/23) and our school vacation will be towards the end of April (4/19 - 4/27). Would there likely be a shift of crowds towards Easter, bringing the end of April down to more reasonable crowd levels (7s and 8s)? What do you think?

Sorry for asking such a crazy, two years away from now question, but I am hoping my fellow DISers will understand. :teeth:

Fellow DiSers know that asking a question about "what crowds will be like two years from now" is usually followed by a laughter "smiley".

:rotfl2:

And there he is.

FWIW, you can safely assume that WDW will be very busy on and near every major holiday and during Spring Breaks and during the summer months.

If this changes, you can always blame it on my faulty crystal ball.
;)
