Hey, everyone!

Ok, round two of blood work is over and my results are still coming back abnormal. I'm on various meds and a pain pill for the headache issue to see if they can get whatever imbalance is going on in my body back to normal. I have to go with this stuff for a month; if the issues don't stop, it's off to the neurologist for an MRI of my head. So, we're hoping what I'm on now works.

Brad has been amazing through all of the stress lately! I went home the other night and he'd left a note on our front door that he knows things haven't been easy lately, so he invited some of our friends over to take some of the stress away. He said they were waiting in the office. I was a bit confused since he was at work and we don't leave anyone at our place unless one of us is there. (We're afraid people will accidently let our 2 kitty fur babies out.)

I go inside and the office door is closed; I open it, and there, set-up and ready to go, was Disney DDR for our Wii. I was beyond excited; the friends he was referring to were the Disney characters in the game. Haha. He's beyond adorable!

We've played it a few times already and it is SO much fun! I'm not normally a game person, but I'm in love with this one!!

I'm sorry I'm still so MIA on everyone's PTR; hopefully things will settle down soon and I'll be able to catch-up. Thanks for not ditching me though!! The support on here is amazing!

If your insurance will let you, why don't you just go ahead and have the MRI done now? It's not invasive, so why wait?

Kyle has also contemplated getting Disney DDR for Wii! Man, how fun would it be to get a bunch of Dis freaks together and have a dance off?

So glad you updated, Heather. I've been checking non-stop for an update. Sorry to here you still don't know what's going on with you. I hope your new meds work. I agree with Beka though, if you possible I'd go ahead and get the MRI now. I hate waiting around.

Brad sounds like such a great guy! How sweet of him to set that up for you. It sounds like a lot of fun! Do you plan any other Wii games? I love playing Wii Sports. The boxing one seriously works your love handle region!

I was expecting Hannah Montana stuff to put its real Disney songs!

Its so cute!

Each level has a theme & when you beat that level you get new Disney songs & costumes for your person on screen to wear.

The only thing I didnt like is the Wii remotes double as hand controls & I did not do well with them. ha ha

Disney DDR for Wii is totally going on my wish list. Just got the Wii Fit and LOVE IT!

I actually have fun trip plans to report! Everything had been put on hold, but I've started working on things here and there.

Ok, long story short. With medical bills adding up lately, we needed some help to finish paying off the trip. I was really, really down about this because I wanted to pay for it entirely, but it was either ask my parents for a bit of assistance, or cancel it altogether. I sucked up my pride, and we surprised my parents a couple weeks ago with the custom maps. I apologized for a good 30 minutes that we can't pay for it all now, but my mom looked at me, started crying, and basically told me I had NO reason to apologize!

They're helping us out a bit now, but I'm keeping all of the plans a surprise. My mom calls me daily - "Are you eating ___?" "Can we do ___?" I told her to stop asking or I won't make ADRs at anywhere she's requesting.

So, I'm sure you all remember my flying fear now; but, my family has talked me in to flying to WDW. My mom and Brad (DH) can't take off as many days as we'd need to drive without cutting off 2-3 days that we're actually at WDW. No thanks! I'll get some good, happy meds from my doctor and suck it up, hopefully..

I started looking at airfare though; the day we were leaving (Friday, September 4) officially begins Memorial Day weekend which means higher airfare. Being the Disney evil genius that I am, I started playing around with airfare for the day before (Thursday, September 3). I crunched numbers, and realized that because of the difference in airfare, I could add on Thursday night at Disney for literally $100.00 TOTAL - not $100.00 per person, room, etc...that's TOTAL.

I called DH and DM figuring they'd think I was nuts trying to add on another night. But, I went in with my argument fully prepared (that's the attorney side of me). I showed them that it was only $100.00 to check-in a day early, and that we'd be getting another TS, QS, and snack credit per person since we'd be there a night early.

This was me after they were done listening:

Then, they both said "Let's do it!" (Although, Brad mainly heard "MORE FOOD!" But hey, if that's what got him, who cares!)

We won't be leaving until after work hours since Brad and my mom don't get PTO like DF and I do, but WHO CARES! That's an extra night at WDW, and we'll be there bright and early for the parks on Friday morning! I think we're going to upgrade to 7 day park hoppers (we have 6 days right now), since we'll have that extra time.

That breaks down to 6 full days in the park, 1 day off (DTD, park hopping, whatever), and 2 days at US.

Me:

I'm so excited! Now, I just have to figure out airfare entirely. My mom wants to wait a few more days to see if it drops, since it seems to be doing that weekly right now.

But, I called WDW and added on a night! WOHO!!!!

ADR date is coming up sooner now - June 5!! I'll post our (hopeful) choices soon!
