Hey Lisa, so happy you got your stroller! We are renting one when we go. A friend of mine lent me her P3 and I took it to the Air Show last week. It was a dream to push around and DS was confortable, but it was really hard for me to collapse and open. Maybe with practice I would be better, but I was too worried about it getting stolen at the park when it was only borrowed.

So, I'm renting a City Mini for $58 for the week. What color did you get?

We got the grey and orange combo. DS kept saying "green one???" but I thought the grey would show less wear/dirt/etc. I'm super excited to use it in Florida. i love that it has "one handle" so I can steer it one handed while holding my coffee! I could never put my coffee in any kind of cup holder with a stroller anyway because it was always too bumpy and spilled.

We did get the snack tray for it and the parent "caddy" for the top - great for those park maps!

It really is easy to close also. Just make sure the front wheel is locked in position and it will shut correctly. For anyone contemplating purchasing the stroller - I also want to say that it was very easy (no tools needed) to put together. I did it myself in about 15 minutes.

The only problem I have is that I don't have a travel bag for it! I want to gate check it but really wanted to get a bag for it to protect it. The one Baby Jogger makes for it is totally out of stock in every single store and every website that I've found. It will be available later in april but our trip is just 9 days away.... If anyone has any creative ideas, I'd love to hear them!

have you checked strollerdepot.com for the bag? they have lots of stuff for the bjcm in stock and usually fast shipping.

Allie thank you for the site suggestion. I called and unfortunately they didnt have any carry/travel bags in stock for the city series strollers either (single). They would have to order from the manufacturer and the manufacturer is out of stock until April 24th.

has anyone ever used something other than the specific bag from baby jogger for a city mini stroller when gate checking to help protect it? Especially since the stroller seat straps are outside when folded. I guessi can take the straps off but I'd rather put it in something if possible. Any ideas?

It was really nice to have the bag since upon arrival home on our last trip, it was pouring out. Everyone else's strollers were soaked and they weren't able to use them through the airport, but ours was nice and dry.

OP here.... I just wanted to update to let you know that we are now the proud and VERY happy owners of a Baby Jogger City Mini stroller. We LOVE it! It hasn't been to WDW yet, that's next week! But so far, everyone, me, DH, DS, even my mom LOVE this stroller. It's got a great sunshade, steers and pushes so easy, DS is comfortable in it and it folds up like a dream and is so compact.

We're very very pleased. Thank you all for your replies and help and suggestions. I never would have selected this great stroller if not for your help.

Glad you found one you like. Sorry I never got back to you on what the BOB was. I never checked back until today. Sooooo much easier to push than the Graco Quatro Tour ones!
