I am thinking of purchasing a pair of crocs, however, I'd like to know more about how comfortable they are and how they compare to other shoes.

For example, I am on my feet all day, and I must have shoes with good arch support. I live in Clarks during the schoolyear and Tevas during the summer.

I did try a couple pairs on--the beach, the cleo (loved this, but not sure if it would stay on all day while I walked in it), the mary janes--but they didn't feel like they had much support. :confused3 I was wondering if they conform to the shape of your feet after wearing them for a few days and thus grow more comfortable. I saw on the croc website that some of the shoes had orthotics so I thought they might be good for me.

Any advice on this? Or on a style to try? Anything????

Thanks in advance for any and all help,

On my last trip to WDW I took a pair of my Crocs but I waited until the day I was leaving to wear them to the parks. I didn't want to chance having sore feet if they didn't have enough support. Well...it turned out that they felt SOOOOOOOO good standing in lines and walking that I will not hesitate to wear them next time I go. They are just so "cushy". I wore them with Thorlo footies. I was not a fashion plate but they sure felt good.

just returned from WDW. I had bought a pair of croc cleos but was hesitant about using them because of back problems. Well, all hail crocs!!! I wore them every day but one when I decided to wear sneakers. The only day my back bothered me was the day in sneakers! The cleos don't give you that "falling off" feeling that you think they would. My daughter wore the caymans and never complained (quite a feat for a 9 year old!)

my cayman crocs are wonderful. I have very sore feet and my crocs are the only thing comfortable. I plan on wearing mine when we go in August.

My crocs rule! I would wear nothing else! They were the best to wear around the parks!! :thumbsup2

When we went to Disney a couple of weeks ago, I wore beach crocs. I will admit at the end of three days of commando touring, my feet hurt. However, they would have hurt regardless. My youngest usually complains about his feet hurting. He wore his Disney crocs all three days, and we didn't hear a single complaint.

I don't know about the orthotic crocs, but generally, they don't have a lot of arch support. Case in point, I have pretty flat feet, my MIL has very high arches. I bought her some Athens because I loved them. She can't do a whole lot of walking in them because they make her back hurt (b/c of the lack of arch support). I on the other hand can go all day in the mall with them no problem. I'm hesitant to do WDW in them, though.

So, I wouldn't recommend them for you if you need arch support...check out the orthotics, though, because I don't know about those...

good luck!
