Yep - we are going to SSR - in 2 weeks!!

DH and I will be at SSR from the 9th to 16th, with DD10, DS5, DD4 and DS2. We were supposed to have an extra cousin 11 along to give DD some company, but it didn't work out, so if any of you that have 10, 11, 12 y.o.s want to meet up, PM me and maybe we can meet at the Community Hall or something. We're planning a day at each park and 1 or 2 waterpark days. Also, my husband had a hip replacement in March due to an old injury. What area should we request to limit the walking for him while at the resort? (Pool, restaurants, bus stops, etc). I am sure he is going to be sore and tired from the theme park walking. He may have to get a cane for the trip. He has done well without so far. Thanks, Mandy

Definately bring the cane. The distance he'll be covering in the parks is tiring without having had a hip replacement. The Springs is the location closest to the restaurants and main pool. I hear however it's not the best spot for the bus as it's the last stop going off of the resort. I'll find out for myself in October as I'm going to stay there instead of the usual Congress Park.
