I'm sorry to hear that some people are sick of seeing them. My husband has cancer and my whole family has gone through h*** this past year. He too, as Disney Debbie said, is so sick of being sick. We all wear them to promote cancer awareness and how much more research is needed. I hope that nobody has to go through what my family has been through this [ast year. This cancer hit us out of the blue, my husband took very good care of his health. It doesn't matter, cancer doesn't care.
The LAF has partnered with them and you can buy either an adult or a youth sized bracelet that comes with a smaller one (made for the kids to use on their stuffed animals)
But, the small one might be just the right size for your dd.
Since she has her special bear maybe you could get a couple and her bear could wear one too!
I wear one and want to purchase several more. It helps us to remember that there is still hope to cure this terrible disease which has claimed our loved ones. DFIL was just diagnosed.
They're a great fashion statement, and I am so glad they are because they are selling like hotcakes and raising tons of $$$ to fight a disease that killed my mother!
John Kerry had a bout with prostate cancer--I'm sure that's one of the reasons why he wears a wristband.
