Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge

My family is planning on going to see Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge. We are very seasoned Disney travelers who go at least once per year... we have just never gone to see this show. My questions are...
*How early should we arrive for the 8PM show on Thanksgiving? We were thinking around 7:00PM. We did call to make sure there will be a show since it is Thanksgiving.
**How do you like the show (those who have seen it)?
**Any food/drink recommendations? We will want to snack during the show.
**We are staying off property this time so we will provide our own transportation. Is parking at that resort going to be an issue since we aren't staying there?

My food rec is their wings.
You should not encounter any parking issues.
Is 8:00 his first show? I assume so, but haven't looked it up.
His first show will be JAM packed. Wall to wall. If you want a seat, I'd get there before 7:00. The 2nd and 3rd shows (on nights he does a 3rd) are much less crowded.

Love his show, he’s a great entertainer. His show has a broad appeal. The bar has a good menu, I haven’t been in awhile but I think I had pulled pork nachos. I’ve gone an hour before show and was able to get a table. But I’ve never been during a holiday.

The food menu is limited, but the court is a short walk away. As long as you order something from the lounge, it’s not a problem bring something over from the food court. I think I’ve seen people do this every time I’ve gone. Just have id ready when you reach security, and tell them you’re there to see Bob. Bob Jackson is a funny ams very talented entertainer. The first set is more kid friendly than the second. The sets don’t change much, at least not the first one. I’ve been probably a half dozen times over the past ten years and he sings nearly the same set list every time. Ae usually leave after the first set, along with a lot of others. He did change it a little after a certain movie about two sisters came out.

Such a fun show! Bunch of grown adults singing Disney classics. I was shocked by how it filled up on a random night in January, so I imagine thanksgiving will be even busier. 7 pm should be okay in theory but seating is limited so earlier the better. Mardi Gras fritters get good reviews from DFB.

DH & I usually stop in to see him once a trip. We usually hang in the back but as others have said you need to get there an hour early to insure a table. He has added more Disney songs the last few years during the first show.

In all honesty - get there as early as you can, especially on a holiday. We've been many times and got there about 90 minutes before a show to actually be able to get a table. The last few times it's been standing room only.
The menu has changed since our last time, so I can't help you there.
You should have no problems parking. Just tell them you're there to see Yehaa Bob.

Like I mentioned, we've been to his show many times, and it is an amazingly good time! We've skipped evenings at the parks just to go see him. It's a very family-friendly show, with a lot of audience participation. I have to remind DH that no one there knows us so he can let loose and have a fun time.

I agree, get there earlier. The resort is very nice so if you get there so soon that it seems dead, then you can always take a short walk around.

The show is great. Get the Bayou Wings and the Marci Gras Fritters. Yeehaa Bob is a crazy good time. The Captains Mai Tai was a great go to at all resorts.
