Nope, didn't say that at all. I have been quite clear that I think the issue is very complicated and that all sides need to be looked at. BUT just saying that if there is no proof then there is no sexual assault goes to far in the other direction.
Sexual assault has always been a tricky situation. Rape can most likely be proven if the woman goes to the police and hospital immediately. Harassment can't always be proved. We can teach our children that harassment is never ok and it's the right thing to speak up and loudly. So many women said they didn't know how to speak up. It's time we teach them how to.
Men can be and are sometimes falsely accused and they should not have to atone for another man's crime.
