Yee Haw Bob Sexual Harrassment

Alleged victim, and she can clear all that up by posting her proof. Afterall she is one of the very few that can actually prove she was sexually assaulted.
I am quite certain that if she produced her "proof" many people still wouldn't find it convincing. They would pick it apart and discuss whether they think she should have felt what she felt. Whether her interpretation of the events was correct or not. Whether it was photoshopped or not. For some people there is never enough proof. And I don't see why she should have to produce a picture of someone touching her inappropriately so that the entire internet world can stare at her butt and discuss it. Requiring her to post a picture that is embarrasing to her so that it can live on the internet forever is not something that I would ever ask someone to do.

For her sake I hope that with what Michelle is asking people to do, such as contacting Iger and the Orlando media, that she has some proof of her accusation. I hope that she has friends who will come forth and testify, under oath, that they witnessed the abuse she claims. I hope that she has copies of her correspondence with Disney, or a log of her phone convo, complete with the CM's name whom she spoke with. I hope that she made a copy of the check that Disney sent her. I hope that she can count on her friend to provide a copy of the photo, and agrees to make it public.

Because if she can't and I were Yehaa Bob, I'd be pursuing legal action against her if I suffered any loss to my reputation or career. People are playing with real fire here. This guy could lose his job, and I'm certain that his reputation has already tanked. I can't remember the last time that I've seen so many people willingly participate in a lynch mob based on forensic evidence that seems to have vanished.

If Bob did indeed do what she said, then he needs to vacate the premises asap, and perhaps the legal shoe should be on the other foot. And before anyone asks "Why would she accuse him if it didn't happen?", all I can do is offer a heartfelt "I don't know". In my lifetime I've seen some very good people do some very strange things, and why was often a mystery.

What we're losing sight of on this thread is that Bob is a human, too. And as such, he deserves some consideration before he's tossed aside as a sexual predator before any of us have seen the results of a thorough investigation. That's only fair.

First of all nobody here is requiring her to do anything, but I'm flattered that you think I have that much power.

I don't see why she is asking people on blind faith to ruin this man's career.
If she didn't want the public to discuss her butt and the incident then she wouldn't have described it on public social media and asked people to write in on her behalf to have this man fired for squeezing her backside. So yeah it seems she has no problem discussing it as long as it gets her what she wants. Maybe the picture won't have the same effect because it doesn't show what she claims? Or do you really believe she is so traumatized that she can't bear to look at it?
and FTR, the public is under no obligation to believe her because she is a woman.

So any allegation of misconduct should be treated as the truth by the public? That's not how the justice system works, thank goodness. The thought that every man should be tarred and feathered and ruined without due process, and by that I mean through the courts, not through social media, is terrifying. Men are sometimes victims of false accusations. Would you want your son or husband tried on social media? Let's just go back to the stone age and forget the court system.

Apparently it happens so rarely that it really doesn't matter if a man didn't do it, the odds say that he did so he isn't to be believed anyway.

So if someone accuses you of sexual harassment or assault, or theft, or murder are you ok with going straight to jail without proof?

Nope, didn't say that at all. I have been quite clear that I think the issue is very complicated and that all sides need to be looked at. BUT just saying that if there is no proof then there is no sexual assault goes to far in the other direction.

Edit to add: Not sure why you are bringin in theft or murder to this discussion?

And again, show me how Bob has been tarred, feather and ruined? He still has his job, many other men who have been accused still have their jobs. An accusation does not guarantee that a person gets tarred feathered and ruined.

Yes, the question was Do you need proof in any sexual assault allegation? And the answer was Yes. How is that to be intrepreted? Because sometimes sexual assault happens and there is NO proof - so then what?
So if someone leaves no proof of murder, that means we are "allowing" them to murder?

Give it a little more time. It just hit social media.

That poster answered "maybe" to this question "If there is no proof does that mean it didn't happen?"
