Year of Million Dreams -- anyone else get something yet? Post your wishes won here!

We got wished! We just got back from 8 MAGICAL days of DL. I swear that at times the park was open just for us! Our party of 6 girls: me, my DD (9), my DM-in-law, my BFF and her 2 DD (4 and 7) got wish after wish. The wished ranged from small things like stickers, tattoos, little cardboard magnify glasses to several pins, VIP seating for Alladin and VIP seating for the Billy Hill show, a free sweatshirt for my DD, and getting escorted on to both Pirate's and Matterhorn... to our great BIG wish of being GRAND MARSHALL for the parade! We loved it and don't think that I am complaining by ANY means, but we found out that we were supposed to stay in the apartment too, but they had a CM scavenger hunt that night and the apartment was not used that night due to the CM event. We were also wished to ride the Lilly Belle, but due to rain that was cancelled. We loved the parade and the chance to ride in the dream car and wave to everybody. They gave us the signs that hung on the sides of the car. FYI...if you are ever picked as GM do NOT try to mail the signs home using UPS! They were going to charge us $150! We took them to the USP and the total fee including the material we bought to wrap the signs came to $25. If any of you were at the parade on May 20th and have pics of us please get in touch with me!

I was in Disneyworld April 15-19... The weather was really warm but other than that it was an awesome time... I took my 13 year old niece and a friend of mine who had never been there before...

One of the days we went to Hollywood Studios formally MGM and my niece and I went on the Tower of Terror. But before we got on the ride... There were two cast members standing in front of the doors. They said you all seem to be in the right place at the right time... Cause you are our winners for today... We got 2008 year of a million dreams mickey ears...
We could not believe it... Unfortunately that is the only thing we got....
But we are planning another trip for the fall.
Maybe we will get lucky again....

DH, DS(4), and I have our trip to CSR planned for August. We will be there for our anniversary. We made sure to mention this to the CSR. We're planning on making some matching shirts. Can you think of anything else we could do to increase our chances of winning a dream?

Here's a pix of the DLR ears-they say 2008 on the back.

And here's a dream team member (at DLR) with DD8 receiving Dream FP! (at DCA) They put on the white vest when they are giving out dreams.

(It was cold so DD was carrying her blanket-she wasn't the only one I saw alot of adults wrapped in their blankies!

My DH and DD won pin lanyards twice and YOMD mouse ears twice on this trip. I am wondering if I can get the mouse ears monogrammed for them for free anymore or if they no longer do that?

We were coming off of Triceratop Spin on Saturday 5/31 and I saw a member of the dream team, the people I was with did not realize what was happening, but I did! We got dream fastpasses...if we would have gotten up and been to the park early like I wanted to be, it never would have happened.....

I don't know that there is a set time that things happen. We got little things all during the day. It does seem to me that the bigger things happen early in the morning, shortly after the park opens.

We got lanyards with pins coming out of the Haunted Mansion at the MK on our second day (back in January).

Two days later, when my god-daughter (age 8) and I were having dinner at the Garden Grill at Epcot (on a very cold evening), Dale (or was it Chip?) came over to our table with the manager and gave my god-daughter a slip that let us walk up the exit of any one ride - but it was only good for that day (and it was already well after 8:00 PM). My GD wanted to ride Test Track, so we raced over there after we'd finished eating and she proudly handed her "ticket" to the greeter at the ride. The greeter looked very sad and said "I'm sorry, but you really don't need that...there's no line". We literally walked up and got directly into a car - they didn't even bother to do the pre-show.

There really wasn't time to use it on anything else at that point, and since it was only good for that day, she kept it as a momento.

The other thing we got wasn't really, officially a "Year of a million dreams" item, I don't think. At AK, while I was buying a jacket, my GD was looking at these tiny plush characters with magnets in them. After I made my purchase we walked off down the street, and after a couple hundred yards my GD noticed that one of the figures had attached itself to her "First visit" pin. So we turned around and walked back. When my GD explained what had happened and gave it back to the lady in the store, she was very nice and gave my GD a set of two pins. She was very proud of them.

We got dream ears getting on Soarin' on Thursday! I believe it was about 1:00pm!

We just got back from our trip. Our children got special retired pins from a CM in AK. And my son received a fast pass for the ride of his choice. In the MK when we got our Pooh fast passes, we got an extra fast pass to another ride. And in Epcot we all got free popcorn. It seemed that extras were being given out all over.

we went on our 1st disneyland vacation lastweek and on our 1st day, we were exiting buzz lightyear and we saw the dreamteam with the dream fastpasses!!! we were so excited!! on their passes they have rides for both parks on there so we didn't have to wait in any lines that day. on the same day, we walked over to california adventure and we just got off of california screamin, and a cm walked up to us and asked if we would like to premiere toy story mania(it opens up in disneyland june 17th) well, i was like shut up-yes, we would love to. only the cm and family got to go that day. we had 2 people asks us how we got to go. a lot of people in disneyland doesn't know about the dream team so they were asking us where they could buy the dream fastpasses!!
