Yeah! Got SOG in May!!

I am so excited!!! I had DH call SOG to see about a reservation for May. I honestly never expected to get the reservation on such short notice, only to be put on the waitlist. Even on the waitlist, I never thought we'd get all our days.
DH just called to say he got the whole reservation- May 18-25!! The kids get out of school for the summer on May 18th, so this is just perfect.

Woohooo!!! I was hoping to go back to AKL for our 13th anniversary, but this is just too great to pass up. $101 a night, and I loved SOG when I stayed there many years ago.

I'm just so thrilled with the reservation, and knowing what a super deal it is. Thank you SOG!

WOW!! I'm impressed! I made our reservations back last May...maybe we'll see you around, we (me & my two DS's) will be there the 23-29th.

Did they mention anything about the possiblility of them not being open by then? The "real" opening date has been a concern.

I wonder if it has been easier to get the reservations with new rotations of troops being sent overseas? Probably more cancellations these days. We got a weekend at CR (SOG) in Feb. just calling last month.

TinkKel, DH said that the reservationist never mentioned anything about when they would be opening. Hopefully they'll be open by then!
