Requested a quote, now just deciding. We've never done a cruise and have been talking about one for spring 2009 anyway.

Go for it! A 4 night is a great cruise to "get your feet wet" and it is great fun to go on a cruise with friends! On our last Disney cruise in March, we had a great Dis meet showing and it was so much fun to see familar faces throughout the cruise - it was like cruising with friends even though we hadn't met before the trip. DH and I were talking about it last night - when we compare our Disney cruises, the ones we had the most fun on are the ones we participated in the Dis meets. For us, it made a big difference to have such a great bunch of people that we were able to leave calling friends.

I will have to dig up the video I posted on youtube that I took during our last Disney cruise on 70s night - it was a blast!!! (a bit embarrassing for some of our dis friends, but a blast none the less!)

i agree about "going for it"...a 4 night cruise is great, and i'm sure being together with the disers and podcasters will make it so much more fun..

that was one thing i really missed on our two cruises....not 'knowing' more people on board.....it would have made things like the 70's night and kareoke and all that other silliness so much more fun....

My kids are both really good, but DD has more of a tendency to ask for forgiveness instead of permission (just little things like going to the friend's house first, and then calling me to ask if it's okay)...whereas little bro draws a line right down the center between right and wrong and won't crossover. It's great -- I never have to lecture DD, because DS takes care of it for me!

We really are a fun family...don't want everyone to think we're a pack of snitches.
