(for Oct). Only $32, but every little bit helps! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Me too! That is what I saved for my October trip. I have a Mini Van reserved. Price from 9/30 thru 10/6 is now $257.00

Thanks- I was waiting for a post like this to check again and my 1 week EA went from $206 to $184 in Oct. Good stuff!! :cool1:

I just checked my October ressie, it is the same.

I checked Thrifty ,same dates ,same car, it is $72.00 cheaper.

I still can't believe National is so high, I have used them for years, but Thrifty is winning me over.

I checked my National Rates for Oct. 14 - 23rd. Emerald Aisle and it is $30 more now than when I booked. I will say that is has dropped considerably from the estimates that I have been getting lately. We are still 88 days out so hopefully it will drop more.

mine's still the same :(

maybe I'm not using the right codes/coupons?

It depends on many things: your dates, length of rental, pick up and drop off day of the week, as well as what discounts you can use. I used an Entertainment book coupon and the Priceless Vacations code. That is the same combination I have always used in the past to find the best rate. I am now at $154 for 5 days, Oct. 1 - 6. I don't think it's a great rate, but I didn't book as far in advance as I usually do.
As far as other rental companies, I really didn't even look. I love National for their Emerald Aisle and bypassing the counter, and have always found their rates to be competitive.
