how does it work with points at different resorts for res?
lets say i had 150 at my "home" and 150 at another resort
but my reservation required 200
can you only book 7 months out since you are using points that are not part of your home?

Yes, at 7 months they're kind of "the same". It's just at 11 months that you can only use points from your home resort. At that point if you needed 200 points, you'd have to borrow 50 points from next year from that resort. We own at 3 resorts, and I haven't found it too difficult to keep track. It helps that they're all the same UY.

yep - if you had 2000 SSR pts and 50 BLT pts each year, you'd have 50 pts that could be used at BLT each year at the 11 month window and 2050 that can be used at BLT (or anywhere with availability) at 7 months out.

now if you bank and borrow from that BLT contract, you could have 50 banked BLT pts + 50 current BLT pts + 50 borrowed BLT pts = 150 BLT pts to use at the 11 month window at BLT every third year.

but any SSR pts (banked/borrowed/transferred/whatever) would only be valid at SSR at 11 months, regardless of what other home resorts you owned.

Good for you. I almost bought some more on the Dream last week, I even had the closing set up and cancelled. I am so glad I did because the deals on resale are so much better.
