Yay... Added an extra day to our trip :-)

I was stitting here and my wife and I were kinda upset that we decided to leave on our Anniversary from Disney and with our flight at 10:30 we would need to leave at 8:00 AM. Decided that was a bad way to spend our Anniversary so I looked into JetBlue to see if there was any availability later during that day... Alas. that was not meant to be, prices were to high. Although the day after there was availability and the rates were about the same.

I called Disney to see if CBR was available for the next day for me with my AP discount. IT WAS AVAILABLE I then called Jetblue to make the change. The price was 13.00 more a ticket, but they wanted 25.00 per ticket to change I asked if they could waive the fee, she put me on hold, came back and said they would waive the transfer fee and I would only have to pay the difference in the price .

So I made all of my changes and realized, I should ask my Inlaws if they would mind watching the kids another night and would be willing to pick us up the next day with our flight landing at 5:25 PM at Logan which means they need to get us in the rush hour timeframe OOps, but they said yes so all is good now.

You should also be sure to write a quick thank-you note to JetBlue for waiving the change fee for you. The more stuff like that is acknowledged by customers, the more likely they are to do it for others!

We leave in 48 hours (May 2-12) Yesterday DH suggested we add a few days to make it a full two weeks. But, since we are using free frequent miles for our airfare, we are stuck with our reservations. However, I am NOT complaining. I'm so excited with anticipation!

You know as I sit here planning my vacation I keep thinking, I just don't want to leave. If the AP codes do what they have done in the past I can afford another night.


Heck I just might add one anyway. I think you have given me the extra inspiration to do so!

I already have planned on sending them a thank you. Present disboard company aside, people seem to only contact people / companies for complaints and not compliments. I try to make sure they are aware of both for me.

cobbler, good luck in adding your day, this was a last minute thing, we really add a day and a half since we were supposed to leave Orlando at 10:30 on the 25th, now we are leaving at around 2:30 on the 26th
