Yankee Candles, I can't believe these!

It kills me to spend that much on a CANDLE! But they are wonderful!!!

I like last Summer (or was it the summer before?) Pineapple Magnolia? Amazing.

They did have a plumeria and sometimes for Mother's day, it comes back and they label if for Mother's day. (pink candle w/pink label) It's fantantic!! Online they have Coconut Bay, which smells like coconut!

I also love their Fresh Mint. Smells like the real herb, not like gum or anything.

You are correct! The old Plumeria (which I love) is re-named MUM for Mother's Day.

Coconut Bay is now in the retail Yankee stores, previously it was only available online, at a flagship store or through other retailers (like Hallmark, Bed Bath & Beyond, Linens & Things, etc.) The new scents that came out this week are Amber Glow, Dune Grass, Fudge Ripple, Root Beer Float, Coconut Bay & Ocean Water. Beach Walk was introduced early, about 3 weeks ago, and sells out as fast as we get it in!

Fresh Mint was discontinued, sorry to tell you! If you see some you better get it while you can! They replaced it with Fresh Cut Herbs this season. Check the outlets, we sent our Fresh Mint there last fall.

My dd works for Yankee Candle and we hit the sale today. Among other scents, we got Amber Glow (burning now, but I have a stuffy nose and cannot smell it, so I don't know if I like it or not). We also got Sand and Sea and Beach Walk, along with some old favorites (really stocked up on Buttercream)

If I ever get unstuffed (darn allergies!) I'll know if I actually like the new scents.

Glad you got to take advantage of the employee sale. It's the best way to stock up on them at a reasonable price. I gotta say I don't like the new Amber Glow. I don't care for any musk scents, or ones that smell like mens colonge. Amber Glow reminds me of my ex Uncle Gary. He hasn't been in our family for 20 years but I take one whiff of that & I can picture him eating with us at the holidays! ROFL! In our store we have funny names for almost all of the candles, so internally now, Amber Glow is "Uncle Gary." We have "dead Grandma", "moth balls", "Hawaiian Punch", "dishwasher detergent" etc. It really is a fun place to work!

BTW Beach Walk is my new favorite!

I love YC! I like getting them at Linens & Things, they usually have at least 2 scents on sale, and I always have at least 2 of their coupons.

I bought Fresh Cut Roses & Lilac Blooms a few weeks ago. The rose is beautiful. I also like Kohl's candles--I can't think of the brand name right now. But they have a birthday cake one that is wonderful--and it even has spinkles on it!

Any chance they'll bring back the basil/tangerine? I found it last year at TJMaxx and loved it... so fresh smelling.

OMG Fresh Cut Roses is the scent we call Dead Grandma in our store!!! Not because we don't like it - because my grandmother always used pink Dove bar soap - and when I smell Fresh Cut Roses it reminds me of her & that soap. I was missing her one day after I smelled it & to cheer me up they made the joke that it was the new Dead Grandma candle. I guess you had to be there. Seems insensitive but they made me laugh, and the name stuck! Sorry Grandma!
