I apologize. I have never opened a Yankee Candle thread but today I was in Linens and Things and they had a Yankee Candle display that said, BEACH CLUB. The writing and the logo seems almost like Disney's Beach Club. What Dis'er would ever walk away from that? I couldn't believe it. I loved every single scent. I had already spent enough but I am going back with coupons next week and I am going to buy.....I don't know which one!? I loved them all! Sand and "can't remember" was wonderful and the one that began with Amber?:confused3 was nice too. Most were 25% off and a coupon would be another 20%. Have you seen these?

Sounds promising--I'm down to only a few dozen tarts, so maybe I need to do a little bargain Yankee Candle shopping. :rotfl: Love those Yankee Candles! FYI, Dawn, they are very nicely scented--last a long time, not cheap smelling. Be careful, you might get hooked!

I have Yankee Candles that I have gotten as gifts and I may have bought one or two along the way, but these are gorgeous. Living in New England makes me addicted to summer. There isn't enough of it!

I just bought the Lilac one today... :lovestruc

'Cause I just finished my Christmas scent a week ago!! :rotfl:

I would like Lilac, the "cotton" one. I don't like berry, I have one as a gift and i would love to exchange it. I like cinnamon, or scents along that line. I like Hawaiian type flowers,; plumeria for example, roses, magnolia and all of these beach scents!

dawn, if you have a yankee candle shop near you, I believe you can exchange your candles there.

Try visiting the Yankee Candle Store in Deerfield MA. It's the Disney World of candles. We usually spend a day there and I always go over budget. :)

I think Dawn lives near the flagship store. That place is olfactory overload!

They did have a plumeria and sometimes for Mother's day, it comes back and they label if for Mother's day. (pink candle w/pink label) It's fantantic!! Online they have Coconut Bay, which smells like coconut!

I also love their Fresh Mint. Smells like the real herb, not like gum or anything.

Your preferences in candle scents are like mine. I love the YC "Clean Cotton" and also like spicy scents like cinnamon. I find the berry scented candles to be too sweet.

One of my favorite holiday candles is the "Jack Frost" which is peppermint and vanilla cream.

Sun & Sand is probably my favorite YC right now (well, all the time except for Christmas, when I go for Balsam & Cedar). I lucked out and hit a Dillard's that was closing and all of their YC was at least 50% off (don't remember exactly now); I think I got 2 jar candles, 2 or 3 of the 3-wick candles, God alone knows how many tarts, and some votives. It was ridiculous. I also have one of the reed diffusers going in the bedroom and just got a couple of their ScentStories discs that each have S&S on them to use in my Febreze machine.

Sun & Sand is my personal crack. It, and Target. It's bad.

I saw the Coconut Bay car freshener but not the candle today.

You've never been!? :scared1: You've gotta go at least once.

Once! ;) Heck, I live 20 minutes away from the Trolly Museum and I have only been there once too. I also live about 10 minutes away from Six Flags and I haven't been there since it has become Six Flags! In fact, I didnt' go there when it was Riverside Park. I have been to WDW many more times!

I work for Yankee Candle - you can exchange a retail jar for a jar at an actual Yankee Candle store - however if it's a Yankee line that is sold at Kohls, JC Penney or other retailer then it has to go back to that retailer. Such as the Yankee At Home line through Kohls. Now if it's an identical label & jar to what's in the Yankee store then you can exchange it for another scent.

You're only 50 miles from our flagship store in S Deerfield & you've never been there??? :scared1: In December I drove 5 hours up & 5 hours back just to stock up on some scents that you can only get there. Hello my name is Tara & I'm a Yankee Candle addict!

I've never been to SixFlags or Riverside, as it was known when I was young. But Yankee Candle is definitely worth going to at least once. The themed rooms and sampler room are fun. I've not been in years and live the same distance as you, but it is fun to visit occasionally.

It's a very expensive addiction!!

TOMORROW is the employee Friends & Family sale - they do this once or twice a year - they extend our employee discount to anyone as long as you identify yourself as a friend of a Yankee employee (you have to know the employee by name). All candles 50% off as well as electric plug ins & refills, pot pourri, reed diffusers...and 25% off everything else. HUGE savings, a good time to stock up.
