Yankee Candle store in Williamsburg, VA

My daughter and I are going to Colonial Williamsburg this fall and I want to go to the YC store there. I know they have a Christmas section and kids' activities, which we're not interested in, but do they have specials or good prices? Any must-dos? Do they ship items back home (we're flying)? I love and use Yankee candles regularly but buy them for at least half off - $8 - $14 for large jars.

Trying to regulate my expectations, and budget, LOL.

My kids love this place. Ocassionally when I go they have a promo going on. Prices aren't really great. It has some interesting shops (Department 56, Christmas ornaments, a nice home/kitchen/accessory shop, toy shop). It's more of an experience to me than somewhere I would shop.

It was nice there, it snows! So pretty! I don't remember the deals being that great. I think I find better deals in the outlet by my house. I think they may have given us a coupon when we went in but other than that the deals weren't that great. Some unique things though, you can make your own candle etc. My daughter made a wax imprint of her hand. We drove so I'm not sure if they ship.

Better than their regular store but nothing exciting. I have found good deals there after a major holiday.

My in-laws like to vacation in Williamsburg. We go with them sometimes. My kids LOVE that store. They like to do the kids' attractions there, which you said you aren't interested in. The Christmas section is awesome. There is so much to see. You can also buy personalized ornaments, which I think are a good deal considering the cost of them at our local mall. The personalization is free. They have a clearance section, and I bought a few things in it that were great deals, but other than that the deals aren't great. They will hand you coupons on the way in, but even those aren't that great. It is a fun place to visit.
