Hi, I have reservations at Y&Y and T-Rex for next month, and noticed that while they aren't participating in TiW they do a 10% AP holder discount. I think it just said on entrees; does that mean that appetizers/desserts (and for T-Rex, sandwiches) wouldn't be included on the discount? Anyone recently take advantage of it that would know?

Thanks!

If that's what it says somewhere, that would be a correct interpretation. We have used the AP discount at Y&Y numerous times, but I don't remember what it covered. I'm always just happy to get some discount so I don't pay that much attention.

It doesn't cover apps or dessert but sandwiches and burgers are considered an entree. You should look into a Landry's select rewards card that might help you with savings. You can't use both but look into Landrys card. We think it is worth it the way we eat at the Landrys restaurants. We go during my birthday month so we get $25 free!

Hi, thanks.

I see this listed on their site (below). It looks like the only benefit on every visit is the 10% retail discount? I think I'd be able to use the welcome reward and the birthday reward, so I guess we would benefit from it. The only Landry's restaurants we have in the metro area I live are Mortons and McCormick & Schmicks - I do go to M&S occasionally for lunch since there is one close to my office.

The way we eat at at the Landrys restaurants is we usually get drinks and apps so the AP discount doesn't do us any good. We also go in March (my birthday month) and get $25 free! I have also purchased gift certificates that add to rewards $$. Almost never purchase merchandise but that can add to rewards too. I think. Your AP will get you 10% on regular priced items too. We don't have any Landrys near us but we use it during our 3 trips to WDW and feel like we save more than the AP would.
