Yak and Yeti? Yay or Nay?

Yay! If you goal is to eat a good meal in the park.

Nay! If you have the opportunity to eat at Sanaa or Boma in AKL!

Big yay from us - one of our favorite in-park places to eat anywhere in WDW.

We loved it when we went in 2008 and we are so happy to be going back this year. I loved the sweet/sour pork and DH loved the duck.

Food was fine. We had an ADR close to park closing and took our time eating. It's was GREAT walking out of the empty park at night. :)

I remember being very cold in the restaurant, though. I wonder if they turned up the AC to encourage us to leave quickly? This was late September and they had a bus waiting for us.

Thanks for the tips. I think ill keep it the ressie is at 5:15 PM

another vote for "yay" - we loved it on our honeymoon! way better than typical chinese take out from home.

So glad to hear that everyone likes this place. We have a lunch ADR in May but was deciding whether or not to keep it and make a 50's PTC ADR for our DHS day. The only reason why I would keep it is because 1)we have never dined here before 2)it is something I have been wanting to try. Thank you all for the reassurance :goodvibes

definite yay, for both lunch and dinner. Ate there last year for dinner, this year for lunch. Loved it both times.

Big Yay :yay: from us. We eat there every trip - I love :lovestruc the duck and the kids love everything they have so far.

I agree on the air conditioning - it's freezing in there! I bring a sweatshirt for that meal. :)

Yay from us too. We went for lunch in 2009. It's good...not worth repeating every time (too many other places to see and try, imo), but no complaints from the meal!

I am trying it this upcoming trip so I have no personal experience yet. I can tell you however I have seen far more good reviews than bad, and the inside of the restaurant looks wonderfully themed. I hope you love it!:)

Worst meal we had in all of wdw, basically high priced and nothing special. Worst part was that we wasted over an hour during evening magic hours waiting on slow service in an empty restaurant. Disappointing for us.

yay from us too. I enjoyed my meal. I had sweet & sour chicken. It was tasty but my only complaint is they should give you more rice!

YA YA YA YA YAY!!

We love splitting the ribs and the fish. I wouldn't have tried it there if my parents hadn't brought us to dinner there. Then we went again on the next trip with friends. They love it too now!
