on the menu here is Chateaubriand for 2. has anyone tried this? and if so, whacha think about? this sounds like a special anniversary dinner for my husband and me. thanks!! :earboy2:

We did not try that, but we did take a party of 7 to Yachtsman a couple weeks ago. It was a huge disappointment if you like wonderful steaks and great service. The steaks were full of gristle. The wine didn't arrive with each course until we were pretty much done with each course.

Keep in mind..we had an early seating..and the restaurant wasn't even busy yet. We definately will never return to Yachtsman steakhouse.

For your wonderful anniversary dinner, try Flying Fish, Artist Point for Jiko. They remain outstanding since day one. Food and Service.

Sad to report that we also had a very disappointing experience at the Yachtsman, and will not return.

If you like steak, try Schula's at the Dolphin--it's incredible! Expensive, but worth it!

We haven't tried the chateaubriand but have had several excellent dinners at the Yachtsman. Our last visit there was no exception. We had prime rib which was tender and cooked just as asked, sauteed mushrooms that were very good, and our service couldn't have been better.

Yes. The Chateaubriand for 2 is a must do. My husband and I love this and order this every trip when we eat at the Yachtsman. They had taken it off the menu for a few years but it has been back now and it is a great meal.

We have been to Yachtsman Steakhouse over a dozen times and have always been pleased. Our steaks have been juicy, tender and cooked just right. Our servers very good, friendly and efficent. Oscar is wonderful and so is Zack.

The last time we ate there they ran out of onion rolls. That is the only disappointment we have ever had. We just had to make do with the sourdaough for the yummy baked garlic ;).

You can share at Shula's but they charge you $10.00 to do so.

You have got to be kidding!! I know where we will not be going!!

24 oz steak is a lot for one person!!!

We had a group of 11 of us for our wedding dinner last year at Yachtsman and it was wonderful. The service was great and everyone loved all the food.

We will be there 4 weeks from today celebrating our 1st anniversary (a few weeks early).
