1) We thought them interesting.
2) As a add to a steak, they would be fine.
. . . we like grilled onions on steaks
. . . caramelized was a nice change
3) A a side-dish, thought they were so-so.
4) Wouldn't do them as a side-dish again.
I also love them on certain meals, but had never seen them as a side dish before. I can't imagine eating them straight and it would be a little pricey to get them to put on my steak.
