DW and I are staying at BWV for a no-kids long weekend for the start of Flower and Garden in March. We're staying 4 nights & will have a TIW card. One night we'll be eating at California Grille. We'd like to eat at one other signature restaurant in the BW area before going to Jellyrolls while we are there. Last year we ate at the Flying Fish and loved it, but we're thinking of trying something new.
We both enjoy steak, so we'd consider Yachtsman, but are worried that it's not as romantic. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed so dark when we stopped in to check it out last year. If that's a mis-perception, someone chime in and set me straight.
I've heard really good things about Todd English's bluezoo at the S&D. Anyone have any experiences to share? We also love good sushi (Kimonos), but I can get good sushi at home. I'm hesitant to go to the S&D because we really enjoy the "Disney" feel. I'm thinking those places, while excellent, may have a more "business traveller" type feel. Again, set me straight if I'm off-base.
The other place we've been kicking around is Bistro de Paris. While the location is exciting, French food doesn't excite me, though.
We'll also probably have lunch at Via Napoli one day (went there beginning of August and LOVED it.) and Grand Floridian Cafe another.
Thanks for any input!
